If you are going to do any 2 player gaming on the NES Classic edititiom you are going to need an extra controller. So you might as well pick one up when you buy the system!

We needed two! Many mention cord length as a con, but I would rather get an extension than have copycat controllers of questionable quality. Especially for the price.

Good thing that I was able to find a second controller from bestbuy. These were hard to come by and I was lucky enough to find it. A+

It is a component of the best console and I love it, it brings back childhood memories, NINTENDO, FOREVER THE BEST VIDEO GAME CONSOLE.

this is a pretty good control. controls are responsive but not as sharp as the original, surprisingly. it feels like the original and even is the same size. had to give 4 star rating because of the very short cable attached. the extensions are a must buy

Not sure why they could not just have included with system but works great to play with family and friends. Cords are short so I recommend investing in cord extensions

These controllers are just like they were back in the day of the original system, my only issue I had was the cable length. Other than that they did a wonderful job.

I've never been big with Nintendo, but Mario Brothers was my favorite when I was a kid, I love being able to play it again as an adult with the same paddles.

The retro controller for NES Classic Edition system necessary for two players. Definitely need for two player action since system only comes with one controller.

This is a great add on to the NES Classic Edition. Feels just like the original controller I used as a child. I would hands down recommend this product to anyone who has a system.

These are so hard to find so grab them while you can. Great inexpensive option to have a friend join. Wish they were wireless though. The cord is pretty short.

Looks exactly like the old NES controller. Only set back is the cord length. 2 1/2 foot is a major setback compared to the original 4 FT cable of the old controller.

This buy was pretty much Automatic, I mean a system isn't a system if you can't play with someone else and for an additional $10, why not? Works as intended.

Since the original unit doesn't come with a second controller, this was a necessary buy and it's great. Same old feel in older hands. Good product and good fun.

We purchased the NES Classic console when it first came out and we were surprised to learn it only included one controller. A second controller was nearly impossible to find. Brest Buy offers an Insignia brand controller but we wanted the matching Nintendo brand. I want to compliment the Best Buy staff member who looked up warehouse availability and offered to have one shipped to our house. It's the same Nintendo controller that came with the console and it works great.

Purchased the NES classic when it was back in stock. It only comes with one controller, so I needed a second one. I will say the controller cord is too short.

Been looking for this forever, it'll take you back, yeah the cord is short so just get a extension and your good. Buttons feel great and it takes you back.

This controller is identical to the controller that is included with the system, however the cords on these controllers are unreasonable short. I would recommended investing in a longer hdmi cord to compensate for the lack of cord length.

The controller was as described and has the feel of the original controller. I would recommend purchasing the additional controller needed for the system.
