Takes the distraction out of trying To live and do things while you’re playing. This device catches Pokémon and Spins PokéStops and gyms by itself. The game also rewards you for getting sleep and monitors your sleep.

Same old connection issues & spotty functionality

Just like legacy devices, it seems to forget it’s connected within five minutes of being in my pocket. I was hoping that the new BLE connection would be stronger but no dice. Been testing for a solid 48 hours - mostly spent walking in a major city - and after being freshly connected it seems to have a 50/50 chance of actually recognizing and auto-catching Pokémon visible on the map (this is with space in my inventory, ample regular balls, etc). Even manually pressing the button rarely works when the device has been freshly connected. Here’s hoping that some software updates will help once there’s been enough bug testing, but I’m not holding my breath. The bugs should’ve been worked out long before release and this was largely a waste of $55.

I felt as if I was falling behind with the amount of hours I played compared to my friends and this device helped me not only catch up, but surpass most of my friend group in catching AND spinning Pokestops. I am most definitely happy with the Plus+ and would suggest it to anyone who wants to start playing or, as i did, catch up to already existing players.

For a walk!, If you love pokemon go, but sometimes aren't free or able to use your hands, this device is great to carry as it functions so well without the app open on your phone
