I was looking to pick up an additional controller (Aside form the regular Wii-Mote and Nunchuck setup we have) and had looked at some 'off-brand' controllers. Decided to bite the bullet and pay a little bit extra to get the real deal, and I've got to say, this controller is AWESOME! So awesome that I now have 2 more of them.

This worked exactly as expected, and it finally comes in black! This Wii Remote works exactly like the old WiiMote from the original Wii, as far as I know. I got it for my partner and I to play Mario Kart 8 together since she was used to the WiiMote controls from Mario Kart Wii. It works just as you'd expect it to.

My kids loved their new controller! It is well made!

I bought this primarily to make it easier for my 5 year old to play certain games. He was having trouble with just the normal wii remote and holding it sideways, but now with the Wii U control, so I bought this and it has made things more peaceful in my house as they aren't fighting over the Wii U control anymore.

Now, I actually haven't tried using the controller yet, but I've heard nothing but amazing things. Unfortunately, I just haven't had the time. The price at Best Buy was no more, and no less than anywhere else, but I am an elite member and build points, so why not get it here. Happy with purchase and excited to use it.

I like this controller better than the Wii remote.
