Having used all generations of Nintendo Console controllers, I have to say that the Wii U pro controller is what I consider their attempt at appealing to the Microsoft/Sony crowd. It feels a bit awkward in hand, I wish they would've stuck to their GameCube layout, to me that was the best controller layout. Don't get me wrong it's not terrible, just honestly not my favorite. I prefer the game pad controller.

My kids needed this remote in order to play splatoon on the wii u on two player, the ended up arguing over who was going to use this remote vs the wii game pad! They love this remote!

This control is probably my favorite to use when playing games compatible with the games and the fact that it doesnt require batteries because its chargeable is a huge convenience.

I am not a big fan of the controller that comes with the Wii U. But the pro controller is great. It fits nicely and feels like the other consol controllers. I highly recommend this controller!

The battery life is awesome! That being said, I play my Wii U a fair amount and the battery hasn't turned red from its first charge yet. Pro Controllers definitely make playing certain games easier, like the Legend of Zelda series, Super Smash Bros., Pokken or any of the virtual consoles you can get online.

Needed second controller and this one meet all the needs my son was requesting. So far he is very happy with this purchase.

For those of old school who like more than 1 or 2 buttons....this makes me happy!

I bought this one for my grandson to use when we play together. He is 7 and the original Wii U controller is just too big. This one is the perfect size for his smaller hands.

Excellent controller. Around par with Microsoft and Sony varieties. Switch version is a slight improvement over this one. Highly recommend over the standard controller.

I'm an amateur gamer and needed an extra Wii U controller for a 2nd player. Has good response and comfortable to hold.

Purchased this controller for my husband and he loved it! My kids and I have used it many times and it's super easy to use. I would definitely buy another one for my kids!

Great controller for the Wii U when you want a more "classical" experience. Ultra responsive and lightweight. Oh, and what you hear about the battery is true - amazing life!

Just should have come with the Wii U system. But it works for our current need.

Sync's fine and plays all games that it is handled with! Better than using the Game Pad for most games. Holds better than the Game Pad as well! Just overall easier to use.

Had purchased several aftermarket controllers but they all had issues (lag, connection issues, etc.). At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and this is worth it.

Controller has agre at feel to it and makes it a great alternative to the game pad. Some games this is more ideal than the game pad and allows you to fully enjoy the gaming experience

I bought it to play Zelda whole day. From the full charge, this guy does not run out of battery even after 12 hours of play. Learn from them, Sony and Microsoft.

The ergonomics are great and a full charge will last awhile. Unless the screen on the Gamepad is required to play, I use this controller.

Great controller if you prefer this design over the remote. My boyfriend is an xbox gamer and I'm a PS gamer, so we get confused about the X, Y, A, B buttons, but that's about it.
