My controller of choice use to be the XBox controller - this controller has surprisingly, replaced it. I can use this controller for its intended console AND now use it for my PC too (only if you purchased a certain adapter).

After years of making ridiculous controllers Nintendo finally made one that is sane. This is a great controller to compliment the Game Pad for multiplayer. WAY WAY better than any of the plug into your wiimote cotrollers.

If I were to force myself to come up with a complaint about my purchase of the Wii U, it would be that this controller really should have come with the console. It is a must-have and is a really well-designed controller.

Bought this controller so that friends could play WiiU games along side me. This works much better than the Wii remote for many games including Mario Kart. I would definitely consider this a must buy if you own a WiiU

This controller provides much better control than the Wii U gamepad. The main thing really is the thumb sticks which seem to have more resistance and just feel much easier to move exactly to the level you want better. The buttons are also a lot less mushy feeling compared to the gamepad. The main issue is you do loose the gamepad features when you do so. In some games it's not that big of a deal, like in Smash, Bayonetta and Kart, but other games it's more of an annoyance like Xenoblade X's fast travel, and in other games you really need the touch screen as it's integral to the game. If you liked the Wii Pro controller, I highly recommend this controller, but it really is dependent on games you own and play most often on your Wii U.

My son got this for his Wii U so multiple people could play mindcraft. He wanted a wireless controller and it is nice that it is rechargeable so we are not going through more batteries. I did find it strange that nintendo recommends you only charge it with the usb cable attached to the wii u. If you do it that way it only shows to be charging when the wii u is on.

I purchased this controller for my children so that they could play some of the newer games cooperatively since some of the newer games need more than just a Wii Remote Plus. It has definitely done its job!

I misplaced my other one. They are great. I never really took the time to master the Wii controller and nunchuck. Recharging by way of USB cable is a bit inconvenient but manageable. Good weight, feel and response.

At first i wasent sure how natural this controller would feel coming from an xbox background, but after holding it it was great fits comfortably in your hand and is really light compared to an xbox 360 controller.

Honestly I love the feel of this controller. I would say it feels as good, if not better, than any of the other controllers out there for any of the systems.

The battery life is great on these controllers. Never really had complaints about any of the buttons. I own two and they're mostly used on SSB and Mario kart. Wish one of these came bundled with console.

Nintendo's quality is once constant in the world. This controller is well built and a worth successor to the classic controller for the Wii. My 5 year old is rough on this, and after a few weeks it's like new.

This is what makes the wiiu easier to play with multiple people. Certain games with the wii numcheck and controller were hard to play, this makes all the new games on the wii easy to play. We have 4 of them

This controller is great. I enjoy using it for the virtual console games on the Wii U like Donkey Kong or Super Mario World. I find it much easier to use than the gamepad because it's much easier to hold.

This controller is a perfect alternative to the game pad. I use this most of the time and only use the gamepad when required. This is much more comfortable to play with. And the battery lasts a long time.

This is a great controller. If your at all used to the Xbox or Playstation controllers, then this one won't take long to master. Excellent quality and feel. If you have a WII U then you need this!

This is a great controller if you don't want to use old Wii Remotes for your additional controllers. Easy to setup and easy to use. Just takes time getting used to controls after using wii remotes over the years. You can also control the Wii U Home screen with this remote.

Great controller feel and weight. Nice button and joy stick lay out for multiple games platforms , from racing to fighting games . Highly recommended , also has great battery life for lengthy game play .

Feels very comfortable and light weight quality is good glossy finish attracts fingerprints but looks like a quality product. Very good battery life. Overall very good. If it had the gamepad screen it would be perfect.

The controllers were very easy to use and all were in working order. The games were great but Captain Toad was easy to win. Could just be my son is good at games. Graphics on the games were beautiful.
