Why pay $20+ for a 15 year old used Gamecube controller when you can buy a brand new one for $30. And it has the longer cord, just like the original Japanese ones.

This controller (or the classic GameCube controller) has become the FGC standard for competitive Smash Bros. A must have for someone who is serious about their game.

It's not Best Buy's fault for not carrying anymore Gamecube Controller Adapters for the Wii U. It's all Nintendo's fault for their expectations on the products. If I had an adapter, this item would be getting a 4 the least.

This controller works well for Smash bros! It's just like the original Gamecube controller, so it should work with an old gamecube.
