This is a GameCube controller with the Smash logo; no more, no less. For use on the WiiU, it requires the adapter which is sold separately and difficult to find. Overall 3/5

They took left over GameCube controllers and slapped a stamp on it, requires an adapter to even used it and only works for smash

Bought his to go with the Wii U system, but I did not know that you need another accessory to go with it.

I bought this for my Wii-U, but you need an additional adapter for it to work.... BUT after I got the adapter it STILL did not work.

The only way to play Super Smash Brothers Brawl is with an old school Gamecube controller. Make no mistake, this is the actually controller you used with your Gamecube. Everything about it is as awesome as you remember it. I only wish Nintendo let you use it on more games.

Useful for those who want to play smash with the retro gamecube controller. Does need an adapter, which can be hard to find, but should become more available over time.

Great controller! I used to play Smash Bros. when I was a kid and now my kids can have the same! Cord length is great also!

This controller proved to me that the official product can definitely be worth the extra money. This controller feels solid compared to the third party controllers I have and the action of the buttons is great.

I recently dusted off my old Nintendo Gamecube for a group play of Mario Kart, but I was distressed to discover I only had two controllers. Thank goodness these were locally available at my nearest Best Buy so we could enjoy some four player goodness.
