I've owned and played with a lot of different controllers over the years but this one is the best I've ever used great battery life and feels good in hand

Solidly built, with clicky, tactile buttons. Battery lasts for a really long time even with hourlong gaming sessions.

Best controller I have ever used. Everything about it just feels perfect. Others have raved about the sticks - I can't rave enough. Every other controller just feels 'bad' in comparison. Small extra, but the bluetooth range for auto-on seems improved vs original pro controller to nintendo switch linkage.

The Swith 2 Pro controller has the best feel in hand of any controller I have used on any platform. The weight, the surface texture, the joysticks, and the response of the bottons texture are perfect. I wouldn't change anything about it.

An excellent improvement over the already great Switch Pro controller! The new satin finish makes it feel premium, and the battery life is still excellent. Also, the mappable back buttons are great for quick reactions!

This is by far the best “Pro” controller out there for the switch has EVRY THING you want in a controller vibrations, amiibo, the programmable back buttons. Best part is the back grip buttons are programmed per game no need to set up multiple profiles like you would the the Xbox and no need to keep reprogramming them to fit your needs like PowerA controllers. Nintendo hit the mark here these buttons are custom programed by you and then tied to the game itself so you can switch games and not have to worry about misreading buttons cause you forgot what was programed on the controller.

I’ll say the price increase hurts but the quality, feel, added features are all awesome. The satin plastic they use feels amazing in the hands. The sticks are definitely smoother. And the 3 new remappable buttons are a game changer.

want to give it 4.5 but i'll concede. the higher price compared to the pro controller of the first switch. the biggest upgrade you'll feel is in the sticks. also not having to get up to power on the system is a bonus! a must need for any switch 2 owner.

First off this controller is awesome. The plastic feel is very nice, the extra back buttons are very handy, and the buttons and stucks feel smooth. Unfortunately i have to knock off a star because its expensive, lacks hall effect sticks, and lastly its not good for self repair. The sticks are not easily replaceable and the battery is now practically impossible for the average user to change out, Needs to be sent into a repair shop. Love the controller but have a hard time recommending it to others due to the draw backs.

Nintendo should make a standard-quality controller in this form factor, it feels much better in the hand than the standard Joy Con controllers. Good weight, really attracts dirt, not sure about the longevity given previous experience with Switch Pro Controllers.

Amazing battery life! The color is not only BLK but GRY too. I would need to use this often before even charging this controller. Not to sofr and not to heavy either!

I’ve been using the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and it’s been a great addition to my gaming setup. The controller feels very comfortable in the hands and the build quality is solid. The buttons and analog sticks are responsive, which makes gameplay feel smooth and precise. It’s especially great for longer gaming sessions compared to using smaller controllers. Setup was simple and the wireless connection works perfectly with the console. Overall, it’s a great controller if you want a more traditional and comfortable way to play on the Switch. I love this controller, I was iffy about buying it since I have the the original one but what the heck. I really like that you can map the the new buttons. It's change the way I play. It just a sturdy as the first one no lag and the battery life it's just incredible.

Better feel in the hand, sticks feel so much better. Just an overall better controller.

Feels like an upgrade from the original Switch Pro Controller. Feels heftier, but not heavy enough to be uncomfortable. Definitely recommend it for adult size hands. Also, this controller can turn your Switch 2 on and off. The Switch 1 pro controller is unable to do that on your Switch 2.

Feels good in your hands. Definitely a good upgrade from the previous version. I prefer using this over Joy Cons, but everybody is different. Holds a charge for a very long time before having to plug in again. I think i played a whole week before having to charge.

A slight improvement from the Switch 1 controller, which was already great. It has smooth matte coating that feels great in hand. The buttons are quieter while still being clicky. It also has mappable buttons on the bottom, which other gaming consoles usually only put on their elite controllers.

I know that it's gotten bad feedback for repairability, and people think it's too expensive. Maybe it is. If those things aren't deal breakers for you, it's honestly a really good controller, highly recommend it. Really enhances the experience. I prefer having first party controllers.
