Very comfortable controller. The gamecube controller is one my favorites, but it was made before the time of shooters, so it's missing some necessary controllers. With the Wii, Wii U, Switch & Switch 2 having off-nominal controllers for more "mainstream" games the pro controllers are great! This pro controller is an upgrade to the Switch 1's. If you already own the Switch 1's pro controller than I don't think it's essential, but it is a noticeable upgrade. The controller feels higher quality, with a more weight and purpose. The only downside I see is there's optional buttons for L/R 3 near the bottom backside of controller and I could see accidentally hitting these frequently if they were in use.

Could be the best controller on the market right now. It's light and feels like you're holding a premium controller, like an elite series xbox controller, but for half the price.

Nintendo's pro controller lineup has always been a great addition to your lineup of accessories. I huge improvement upon the joycons, you won't regret adding this to your collection, though it is a bit pricey.

Nintendo has delivered a masterpiece. They took the best features of the Pro Controller for Switch 1 and improved on them with the extra shoulder buttons and a more ergonomic grip.

It’s small but much better than using the joycons. I don’t think it offers anything that justifies the price however.

Nothing complicated, but the addition of the back paddle buttons really make this feel next gen compared to the switch 1. Very nice controller, dpad is improved too (not perfect, but better than switch 1).

Controller is much higher quality than the pro controller for switch 1. the Gl and Gr buttons are an amazing addition and can be changed easily. Expensive controller for sure but it’s good.

One of the best controllers I’ve used. Feels very premium and the rumble is excellent. Good placement of the GL and GR buttons as well. Battery is great, I will be using this for a long time.

Great controller and works perfectly. Thought it would be an issue due to big hands but everything works phenomenally. Highly recommend.

I really like this pro controller. I like that you can change the button configuration. I havent done it as of yet but it is good to have the option. It has a long battery life. This is my preferred way to play.

The Pro Controller 2 has become my favorite remote that I own. It's a very quiet and smooth remote that works well with the Switch 2. However, it uses similar stick technology as the Switch so I'm not sure if it will start to drift, so far I haven't experienced any drift. It lacks support for PC which sucks when it costs almost $100. I really enjoy how quiet the sticks and the buttons are. I've never heard anything as quiet and it's hard to go back to anything else. The Dualshock 5 is close, but this one definitely wins in that department. Another benefit of this remote is the rear buttons that can be mapped to any of the buttons on a game by game basis. Compared to my steam deck, the back buttons on this remote are much easier to reach and have a more natural placement than the steam deck. Overall it's a great comfortable remote, but the price, durability and support would make me think twice if I was on a tighter budget or just didn't want to blow $100. If you just need a Switch 2 remote and don't care to use it on PC i would say this is a must buy. If price is an issue I'd say check out the original Switch Pro Controller or an 8BitDo Ultimate/Pro series remote

I am really enjoying this controller the analog sticks are smoother than its previous version the d pad responsiveness is great and the customization option of the rear buttons provides great functionality

The Switch 2 Pro Controller is amazing. It improves on everything the original Pro Controller already got right, and adds some big upgrades like back buttons and a headphone jack! This controller is up there with my Duelsense Edge as my two favorite controllers of all time.
