This controller has a great feel in the hands, the joysticks feel very smooth, and it has a great battery life. Definitely in my top 3 for all gaming controllers

I'm a bit of a controller fanatic. If there's a pro or upgraded version available for a console, I will usually opt for it. In this case, I can say this version of the Pro Controller is definitely worth it. I owned the previous pro controller for the original switch, and while I loved that controller, I never loved the plastic casing around it. Just felt a little cheap. That's been changed with this one; it has a really nice matte finish that feels incredibly good to hold for hours on end. The sticks are a godsend as well. I don't think I've ever played with a controller that has as buttery-smooth motion as these ones have. No clicky-ness, no resistance, just a good time. All in all, if you're serious about going all in on the switch 2 and want the best of the best, this is it folks.

This controller has an amazing feel, and good quality sticks. My only issue is how difficult it will be to open up for repairs. Oh and also the Dpad

This controller is fantastic. It may not have hall effect sticks but the sticks feel buttery smooth. Overall the controller feel great. The battery lasts for a good while like its predecessor. Highly recommend!

Noticeably Better than the Switch 1 Pro Controller

This is improved and probably the best controller for any system made by Nintendo except perhaps the Virtual Boy (that almost nobody owned). I also like it better than Xbox and PS5 for what it's worth. The only downside is the price, but if you have a Switch 2, this is a must-have.

Feels very nice in the hand. Joysticks somehow feel more smooth while being a little stiffer than the Switch 1 Pro Controller. It also does not clack as much when pushing the buttons. Pricey, but very high quality.

Honestly for a pro controller, I couldn’t have asked for More. It’s impressive. That price isn’t though I mean it’s better the buying joycons 2 things can be a little bit more pricey with the back triggers being integrated into the OS. I found myself using this a lot probably because it is the default controller besides the joycons the older pro works, but doesn’t allow you to find it or turn on the console from a distance with the controller, which kind of sucks for the other one, but this pro controller remedy that I don’t know why Nintendo decides to remove this integral feature and with the game chat button, I thought it would be kind of useless, but it’s pretty handy. Surprisingly when you use game chat not the most in convenient enough. I will update my review I get drifted.

want to give it 4.5 but i'll concede. the higher price compared to the pro controller of the first switch. the biggest upgrade you'll feel is in the sticks. also not having to get up to power on the system is a bonus! a must need for any switch 2 owner.

Better than the original pro controller. seems to fit in your hands better. Yes, it can turn on the switch 2 (the original pro controllers won't turn on the switch2). I personally love how quite the buttons and analog sticks are. Makes it easier to game in bed when the wife goes to bed early. I don't like the price tag, but I it was on sale for $75, and had rewards points to make it a great deal. Glad I ended t up getting it. If you can afford it, get it. I don't even use the new buttons, I'm too old to try to figure those out, Too new to know about stick drift....I'm hoping they do better than the original pro controllers.

Back buttons are nice and customizable to profile or game needs. Having an extra way of holding spring in Breath of the Wild, or jumping in Donkey Kong, etc. Comfy controller, and decent battery. Best option for longer gaming sessions. Some issues with bumping a back button, trigger, or bumper (L/R, LZ/RZ) but not detrimental.

A slight improvement from the Switch 1 controller, which was already great. It has smooth matte coating that feels great in hand. The buttons are quieter while still being clicky. It also has mappable buttons on the bottom, which other gaming consoles usually only put on their elite controllers.

At first I was skeptical about getting this controller since I have several Switch 1 pro controllers, but this controller feels great to hold and the added paddle buttons will come in handy. Worth getting in my opinion.

I know that it's gotten bad feedback for repairability, and people think it's too expensive. Maybe it is. If those things aren't deal breakers for you, it's honestly a really good controller, highly recommend it. Really enhances the experience. I prefer having first party controllers.

It's like the PRO Controller for the original Switch but a lighter version (physically.) If you liked the original this one you may like just alittle bit more. It's perfected the original in everyway.
