An improvement over the old pro controller.

However there are some repairability concerns. It is very difficult to dismantle the controller in order to replace any failed components.

Good Controller, Needed Analog Triggers, Pricey.

Pro controller is great!

It feels better to hold and the triggers have better reaction. If you already have a pro controller, I would say maybe wait for a sale on this one. If you don't have a pro controller, they are amazing! If you play on your tv, or play with the switch propped up, it's way more comfortable then holding the switch.
