The controller has been a favorite dor years, but somehow they improved the model. The newer version for Switch 2 has a matte finish which makes it feel smoother in your hands. The control sticks are magical, in that they dont make any noise and also feel very smooth. Although, the differences are subtle from the original pro controller to this one, if you can shell out the extra dollars for the upgrade, do it.

It has a sleek matte finish, and it feels slightly rough to the touch, which gives it great grip. I did drop this controller once, and pretty hard too. It doesn't even have a tiny scratch on it. Very good quality.

But the fact that the triggers are still just buttons is a real bummer. Feels more like a children’s toy compared to something like the dual sense for ps5. Granted a very nice children’s toy and probably the best controller you can get for the switch 2 currently. It’s pretty pricey too. For that price I should be able to lightly hit the gas in a racing game is all I’m saying.
