My kid is very happy and has a lot of fun playing with the brother an friends. It is a good motivation for him. I do recommend to have parent control since the kids would play all day if you are not careful. This switch is portable and perfect from long trips.

My dad just died and I needed something to distract me and also help me through my grieving process. I felt my brain going numb and I needed to not be numb my brain needed to be active and this has helped. I had no idea I would also just enjoy a little bit of a distraction from the crazy in the world that is going on but I have. Over all this thing is great.

I always wanted a Nintendo Switch and with being on safer at home orders, I started my search. I found the Neon Red/Blue console available at BestBuy and immediately went through the checkout process to ship it ASAP. I love this gaming console because I can play either on my TV or in handheld mode, which I love. I enjoy the games like Mario Odyssey and Animal Crossing. My family loves the system too. This console has brought back my love for gaming. I am addicted again. Thanks Nintendo!

Portable. Easy to bring along. Comfortable to use in any controller configuration. The small size of the cartridges make use as a portable console perfect. The Kickstand well not perfect does it's job just fine. The battery life of the console is excellent and you shouldn't have any issues with the battery though keeping an AC or car charger wouldn't be a bad idea. In regards to the hard drive space. It's a non issue. The Games do not need to be downloaded off the cartridge. Like PS4 or X-Box one titles due. It's back to the good ole days of literal plug and play. And if your worried about digital download games. There's a 2TB Switch compatible SD card coming out next year. I'd highly advise getting a Switch As soon as possible. There's lil doubt Stores will drain fast of them when any stock comes in and with good reason.

I recently purchased a Nintendo Switch and I am thoroughly impressed with the device. The Switch is a versatile gaming console that can be used both as a home console and as a portable device. The console feels sturdy and well-built, with a vibrant and responsive touchscreen that makes it easy to navigate menus and play games. The Switch's library of games is impressive, with a wide variety of titles ranging from popular franchises like Mario (Mario Kart 8 is fun for the whole family) and Zelda to indie games and classic titles from older consoles. The console's portability is a huge plus, as I can take it with me on the go and play games during my daily commute or while waiting for appointments. The Joy-Con controllers are also comfortable to use, with motion controls and haptic feedback that add an extra layer of immersion to certain games. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Nintendo Switch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile and enjoyable gaming console.

This console is amazing! I got it to keep me busy during this quarantine and it has not disappointed! I’ve only played two games on it so far, and I haven’t had any problems. The tablet holds a charge for a long time, which is great. My only complaint is that my joycon sticks have to “load” or reconnect themselves more often than I’d like in the middle of gameplay.. If I were playing time sensitive games, I could see this causing a lot of issues. Other than that, it’s worked great

The switch is very much a "handheld" console, meaning that it isn't really a handheld you can put in your pocket along with some pocket-sized games, but a console you can put in your hands and take with you cord-free and peripheral-free. Some switch games can do multiplayer with just the included joy-con controllers, that's an insane value compared to the Wii. The Switch currently has 3~ defacto flagship games being Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, and Xenoblade. ARMS and Splatoon 2, don't necessarily have the single player meat in them to grip the casual masses. I don't even think the Switch Eshop has up to 100 games yet. That being said, my point isn't a negative one. As a gift you have barely an issue of choosing which game to buy seeing as any of the 3 is a guaranteed success. For the recipient, the same applies seeing as any of these games have 60-100+ hours of content. This meaning that in the time it takes to finish one, more games will have already come out. Not to mention DLC packs have already been released for several of the Nintendo exclusives making a long game like Breath of the Wild even longer. Have you seen the video of the Switch being dropped a 1000 feet? It survived. Nintendium at its finest. It will probably take nintendo a long time to develop video streaming service support and a built-in browser ala the PS4 launch. They also removed the easter egg/homage to their late president Satoru Iwata which required mimicking his Nintendo Direct welcome gesture to play NES Golf which was the first game he developed. NoA also has a bad habit of unnecessarily censoring games. So don't expect some of the craziest games to make it on Switch for that reason. Hardware-wise the Switch is like a...... Nvidia Shield Tablet and a PS3.5 if you can picture it. Nvidia even used the same hardware for it. The included dock spits the display on your tv and adds some framerate stability, but the meat of the console is the handheld portion. The cartridges are the more interesting part though, being Nintendo's proprietary medium, they hold 32gb of data with 64gb carts coming in 2019. That means pretty much all multiplatform games until then either are heavily compressed, downgraded, feature stripped, or have features withheld for digital add-on like DOOM on the switch, or just forgo development altogether. So don't toss your current console/PC at any rate. The console is innovative in its execution if nothing else and I love it for what is: a portable console.

I bought the switch with some reservation as to how much "use" I would get from it, and I've been pleasantly surprised. So far every game I've played has worked well, and I don't get hung up on the quality gap between the XBOX like I though I would. Its versatility is the real winner though. Wether I'm playing solo like a handheld system, on the TV sole/with other, or, with someone else using the screen in the airport / in the air it has been a great addition. Well done Nintendo.

It's been such a long time since I've owned a handheld gaming device like the Nintendo Switch and I'm loving everything about it. Being able to switch between your TV and going mobile is so awesome! There are some great games being released as well. Mario Kart and Zelda alone are enough of a reason to want to own a Switch. I won't get into the details as most of you who are interested in purchasing a Nintendo Switch can just YouTube some reviews on it. I just wanted to give my personal opinion on it and I think It's a great portable system with a lot to offer.

I was saving my reward points for a switch for a while, and when i finally had the funds for it (aka Free switch from reward points) thats when all went south around the world. One thing that happened was that people were buying the console immidiately just to flip it on Ebay for double the price. So for two-three months i was looking for the console at BestBuy and no luck. I installed the BestBuy app, and after a couple of weeks of looking for the console, i finally saw that Grey Sold Out turn Yellow Add to Cart. I hit my reward points and immediately added the console to my cart. I hit purchase and got it! Enough Story. Onto the System It handles Beautifully, great game library, pretty decent battery life for how powerful the system is. The joycons are actually pretty cool, although i like more meat on my controller so i bought a regualr 20$ controller to use with it. I will say that my main complain is that the Dock is super cheap! it works, however sometimes it disconnects from the TV, and it just kind of low quality, lots of edges (becareful with the switch screen around it). I highly recommend this, while i use PC for most of my games, this console has turned into my favorite followed by the PS2. But at the same time it is also a handheld so it has turned into my favorite handheld console followed by the 3DS XL.

Gone... they were all gone, GameStop, target, Walmart everywhere, but for some reason I decided to check Best Buy every once in a while. One day I saw that it was in stock, I thought it might have been a glitch in the system but sure enough when I got that confirmation email and the pick up email it was all real. I recommend to do check the website or app often, it does come back in stock every once in a while since I’ve checked in again before and saw it in go in stock (Most likely one or two in stock at a time cuz it immediately goes out of stock). So if you see it in stock TAKE ADVANTAGE IMMEDIATELY!! Now to the ACTUAL review it’s everything to be expected, amazing. I wanted the switch because I wanted a hand held gaming system like the psp (RIP old friend) while also being able to be active and play with friends like the regular wii, and this was the perfect fit. I did get the 256 Sandisk memory card cuz a friend says the storage goes quickly, plus there was a massive sale on it so it was worth it. Very fun and I’m glad I was able to snag one.

Oh Nintendo you really make me want one of these now. What an awesome product. Brilliant portable gaming system. The controls are superb and the game selection is just mind blowing. I have two kids and now my daughter wants her own Switch Light. I may have to buy her one for Christmas this year as they are constantly fighting over it. They both LOVE IT! I may have to buy me one too, I try to get them to go to bed early so I can play with it sometimes. LOL!!!

The switch gives you great games and flexibility with it's portability, but the system does come with some faults. It comes with very little memory, 32 gb, which will run out very quickly if you prefer to purchase games digitally. In my opinion this almost requires you to purchase a memory card which will cost you at least another $15-$25. Also I am very careful when placing the system into it's dock, despite this it ends up with some scuff marks on the bottom corners. This also pushed me to purchase a glass screen protector for another $10. The last complaint I have about the system is that the buttons and joysticks feel very small and make my hands cramp up if I'm playing for more than an hour and can make some games feel awkward when performing certain actions. I would say that I have small to average hands so I can imagine it being worse for people with larger hands. Despite these problems I love the system overall. I would recommend it just in terms of the portability factor and the games available currently(Zelda, Mario, Xenoblade 2) as well as games slated to come out in the next few years(Metroid, Pokemon, Smash, etc.).

Nintendo did a great job with this system only possible by the new USB type C standard. Feels great in your hands after you get used to the weight and the battery lasts a good amount of time undocked. No part of the designs feels like an after thought except maybe the micro SD card slot, but not a huge issue. This console falls short of some things. 1. Storage: with only 32 gb of onboard storage you are going to need an SD card soon after purchase depending on the games you play. More storage space would have been great but also may have drove up the price. 2. No Bluetooth headset support is a hit to private play on the go. The current work around involves a dongle; something that is universally hated at this point. The joycons paid over Bluetooth so the option is there it's just not enabled. 3. No way to save games externally. Whether on the cloud or SD card you can not back up your save data and if your system breaks you are out of luck, It's that simple. Most of the issues can be resolved by simple software updates but should have been implemented from the beginning, which is a shame for an otherwise great console.
