Have had this for two weeks now and it’s been a blast. My girlfriend and I love the Mario games we initially got. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy were surprisingly good purchases (downloads) during a recent cold snap, as well. No issues with the controllers or system. All working fine. I’d also say I enjoy playing the Switch more than my PS4.
Oh - one thing I would recommend is buy yourself some extra storage for this system.

There is a good diversity of games for this console, compared to the previous Nintendo profile. I primarily bought it for the portability and it fits that bill quite well. Under the Pandemic circumstances though, the stand out is the Ring Fit, which I give 5 stars to just as a great use of this product's capabilities and a legit, fun, exercise game. I would like to see if there is something like the old Wii sports/games app available for the switch. The lite is probably a better option if portable is what you really want.

The Nintendo Switch is fantastic. Its versatility as a handheld and console is unmatched. The graphics are impressive, and the game library is extensive with titles for all ages. Battery life is solid, and the controls are responsive. Overall, it's a great investment for gaming enthusiasts seeking quality and portability. Highly recommended.

This is my second switch, I also own the original release.
The only difference is this model get a slightly longer battery life.
other than that everything else is the same as the original model.
I love the neon color over the gray, adds a lot more pop.

Purchased this for my young children. They were able to figure out how to use it quickly and easily. Love that is can be used as both a handheld on the go and also as a multiplayer system connected to the TV. So many different games available as well.

Admittedly, I only bought the Nintendo Switch for Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and was a little skeptical of the gimmicky modular design of the system. The immediate unboxing didn't exactly end those fears as the system itself is thin, small and feels slightly flimsy but forget all that because the system is awesome. I am addicted to Breath of the wild and was shocked when I plugged it into my tv for the first time after playing it for days in travel mode and maybe I'm just blind but it sure seems like the graphics got better when displayed on my 4k tv versus in travel mode, and they were perfectly fine in travel mode but awesome on the tv. The systems pretty pricey for what it is, what it does and the amount of credible games and accessories that are out there. You can easily spend $600-700 dollars to get everything you need/want to play the system properly but honestly for me it's been worth it so far. Let's hope Nintendo brings retro-games to it because playing Zelda Windwaker, Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask and Ocarina of TIme on this would be incredible.

The second gen Switch with the longer battery life is an overall great system. The system itself is overpriced (like all Nintendo systems/games), but a great buy that my boys love playing. Being able to dock or undock the system while playing games is a great feature.

Nintendo has outdone themselves with this system. A hybrid system that you can play at home or away at your own leisure. The system power may not be what you can get from a PS4 or Xbox, but the games are it's strength to me. Being able to play Zelda at work has made this one of my favorite consoles of all time.

The Nintendo Switch seems to merge together the home console and hand-held console into one convenient unit. The idea of being able to dock it, play it on a TV, and undock it is very novel one. There are some pros and cons with this device.
Pros:
- Portability
- Low entry-level cost
- Multiplayer-oriented
- Great first-party games
Cons:
- Plastic screen
- Dock may scratch said screen
- Accessories are expensive, and almost necessary
- Lackluster amount of launch titles
This console is powered by NVidia, and feels much like a Shield tablet with attachable controllers. The included "Joy-Cons" carry out a decent-enough job to play games. However, the small range-of-motion the analog sticks have can cause frustration in precise movement (Zelda).
I purchased a Pro Controller, but it's an expensive accessory ($70 at the time of this review). I much prefer this controller over the Joy-Cons.
Controller issues aside, there aren't many games available, at the moment. Of course, the must-buy title is Zelda: Breath of the Wild, along with Mario Kart 8, and Super Mario Odyssey (slated for future release). The absence of the Virtual Console is disappointing, and could sway more buyers, if it were available, once the stock levels meet the demand.
If you already own a Wii U (like I do), you may want to hold onto it, for a little while longer. There's hope of eShop purchases transferring to the Switch. I also hope to be able to backup my save files, either in the cloud or external media.
I recommend getting the console if you're a longtime Nintendo fan, or don't already have the Wii U.

Great portable system. The only drawback is that it doesn't include any games. This is version 2 which has a longer battery life than the original system. I would suggest getting Nintendo online so you can play old school Nintendo games.

The switch does fairly well as a hybrid gaming system, balancing battery life, portability, ease of use, of a handheld. But as a home console it is fairly lacking, 1080p max, only audio options are hdmi or 3.5mm jack, no apps, youtube, netflix, web browser. If you have a smart TV and really want the latest nintendo games, go for it in the future, as of now, few truly new, exclusive to the switch games, I mean games that are not ports, remasters, rereleases + dlc content, or are also on another system. What makes an exclusive is that 100% of its development is dedicated to one system. The end result is a smooth polished product

Well worth the wait. It is a great value as one of the lower costing systems. I love that it is portable or I can connect it to the base and play on my TV. I am still exploring different games but the standard Nintendo games are excellent as always!!
