Anyone looking to purchase a portable video game console this is the one for you! I was honestly shocked by how small the joy-cons were at first, but after a bit they were easy to adapt. Currently, All I play is Smash Ultimate with my brother and occasionally with my friends and it almost feels like playing on the old Nintendo consoles, which for me is great! Nintendo has found a way to create this new platform w/o betraying its core and I always get this feeling of nostalgia while playing since it reminds me of N64 and Nintendo's GameCube. I guess what they say is true, "PSP & PSPV were before their times." Who knew portability would be so much fun out of your teens? My only concern is the low memory space, I did not know that upon purchase that I'd only be able to download one game! I bought the controllers, the adapter, and everything else I believed I had needed, however, I was completely unaware of this so just a warning to all those thinking to buy! With that being said, buy this product! You will not regret it, I have not begun to yet.

This has been amazing. Not only have I scored the highest points in the “coolest auntie” category, but this has allowed my niece to have her own gaming station to play and share with her friends. She has been asking for a while to be able to join in the fun with her friends and I was able to do just that. It’s very kid friendly, 2 players as well, and all around a very fun time for everyone invovled.

Got this as a gift and it was a big hit. Easy to setup and ran flawlessly.

We finally caved and got the switch and have been loving it! I know the newer one probably has better graphics, but this one is just great for what we were looking for!

Switch has lots of quality games for the little ones and it's also nice because it's portable

I love this device! It reminds me so much of the older game boy and old nintendo systems except this thing is magical! First off, the video is pristine! Secondly, i love that it has all the old super mario brothers games (obviously way better quality and better gaming ) and also able to play zelda and pokemon as well! I love that it is portable but also able to display on the tv! I love that feature!

So my son has DESTROYED 2 switches since the original system came out. After making him wait almost a year to replace it, I purchased this for his birthday. He’s very happy with it and apparently this switch is an upgrade from the previous. Acccording to him, the battery life is longer lasting. Unavailable at other stores. Glad I was able to find it here. Will have to see if it stands up to his toughness though. Got the insurance on it just in case.

Son loves it no complaints at all tons of fun for the family

I've never had a hand held version of a game system. I've tried playing it as a hand held game and I have no complaints. The screen is clear and I have no trouble handling the game but, for the type of games I play I like the big TV. I have no problems with the system at all. I know you can download games directly to the system but, I'm old school and I need the actual cartridge which now is not much bigger than a SIM card. The only thing is that the controller when playing on the TV feels a bit bulky.

I couldn't believe I got my hands on one of these during the pandemic. I was so pleased that the price hadn't been jacked up either. It's been over a decade since I bought a video game console so believe me when I say this was super easy to set up and get started on. I am in no way a gamer, but I've been able to play with ease. My 6 year old loves playing on this and he is able to navigate it really well by himself.

I bought a Nintendo switch for the family and we havent stop playing since Christmas. I grew up with the original Nintendo system so its great to share with my kids the next generation of Nintendo.

Within maybe an hour of buying the Switch, I ended up accidentally dropping it. I thought I had scratched it for sure but the screen is really resilient and looks really crisp too. It's gotta be made with indestructible Nintendium or something. Though, I'd still advise getting a screen protector. As for the games, it's just the beginning and Nintendo's already knocked it out of the park with Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey. There can only be more great titles on the way, put that GCU to use!

I bought this for my 7 year old son. The games are family friendly and it is a great beginner system.

The flexibility to play either on the TV or portable is great, and Nintendo is starting strong with Zelda and Mario - love it!

I bought this product so when my great grandkids come over they would have something to do. They absolutely love the Nintendo!! I bought several games and get so into these games it’s unbelievable! I even got into playing when they leave

As a occasional game player, I was skeptical on buying the switch due to the fact that sometimes xbox and playstation consoles have sat around the house unplayed. But I have to say I'm very surprised and loving the console. The portability factor along with the really enjoyable Nintendo specific games are amazingly fun. I've tagged in almost 8 hours of video game play (an hour each day since acquisition) and loving it. I like the fact I can play on the go or outside where I need to be, but then at home dock and play to the big screen as well. I have to say I an VERY SATISFIED with my purchase and can't recommend this enough. I feel that this will continue to get more game play time than that of those more higher priced stationary consoles moving forward and may even become my primary device for game play.

Love the Switch! I think Nintendo has the best selection of games for all ages and interests. Mario, Yoshi, and Zelda have always been my favorite and now my kids love them too! I highly recommend the pro controller to go with the switch. We keep the switch docked and use the pro controller most of the time. Using the joy-cons in the grip is quite uncomfortable. Even my kids prefer the pro controller over the joy-cons.

The kids are excited to Be able to Take it on the go as well as play it at home. It’s a great game console for The family.

My son was able to save up money and wanted to purchase the Switch. Since the start of the pandemic, these have been hard to get. Finally got one a few weeks ago. It's very portable and has the dock to be able to connect to a large TV via HDMI. My son has a few saved games that he was able to transfer over from his brother's device. Overall, it's a great system for gaming that's not Xbox or PlayStation.
