This console is very much a must own. Even just to play Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If you can find one, you should definitely pick one up. This has already offered hours of fun for my family and I. I've already played this more than I did my PS4 Pro. That has to do with the fact that I'm now a more casual gamer. This should be perfect for those that don't have as much time to play games.

The longer battery life in handheld mode is much appreciated as that is the system's greatest strength. I love console gaming on my big TV, but I've found the Switch's handheld flexibility to be it's greatest asset and my most frequent use of it. The only strike against it is my left (blue) joycon was drifting out of the box and needed to be sent in for repair, but that was free and came back in perfect working condition!

Stop worrying about what has the best graphics, and just have fun. This is easily my favorite console since the original Xbox. You have the traditional Nintendo series's, AND they're starting to get some pretty big-name non-Nintendo games as well (Skyrim, LA Noire, etc). The Joy-Cons are a bit small for me, so I got the Pro controller and it's better than both the Xbox One controller and the DualShock 4. It's both a portable and a big-screen console. If your TV is taken, you just pick it up off the dock and keep playing. If you're traveling, you can play on the bus, train, plane, etc. and when you get to your hotel you can just set up your dock there or lay in bed and play. It supports up to 8 controllers for local multiplayer games, and each Joy-Con side can be used as an individual controller. I can't wait for a new Mario Party to come out. There's a good selection of true local multiplayer games, unlike with Xbox and PS4. It supports Bluetooth headphones, so if you have Airpods (or other wireless headphones) you can go truly wireless; no adapters needed.

With the switch being sold out everywhere and scalpers marking them up I got lucky and got one from Best Buy. The switch is a great product the only issue I’ve had with them is joy cons not responding properly. Nintendo will fix them for free. With that being said they are very slow with fixing them with Covid 19 going around. This is my 4th one so the joy con issues haven’t stopped me from buying.

This product's portability is literally amazing: you can take it anywhere and its battery life is surprisingly long.

Though it does't have the power of a PS4 or Xbox One, this is still a great gaming console. One thing you have to give Nintendo credit for is for their in house games. Breath Of The Wild is amazing, and the new Mario Odyssey keeps up the tradition of releasing excellent games. If you don't already know the seamless transition from console to handheld is brilliant. This is a definite for all Nintendo lovers. Biggest critique would be lack of triple A 3rd party titles.

I love this gaming system and the functionality! It made a wonderful gift for my husband! I like that it can be used as a portable gaming system or docked to the but screen tv! I also like that the controllers can be takin off and used as 2 player.

I love the switch because I can take it literally anywhere and there are so many games and many Nintendo exclusives!

My 4 year old son loves it. Connecting it to our TV was simple and the year subscription is SO worth it for $49 bucks.

I had been monitoring Best Buy for a Nintendo Switch, and when one became available for order I quickly bought it. My pick up date was about 3 weeks, but ultimately it came in early so I waited about a 1 and 1/2. Picking it up at the store was quick and easy. A great experience overall! Plus all of the e-mailed videos from best Buy with info on set up and other features was great, too!

I was a latecomer to the Switch. I did the whole GameCube and Wii thing. Skipped the Wii-U and (until now) the Switch. Mainly because I assumed it would be Nintendo's usual *slightly less powerful* console offering that they had done for the previous 3 generations. While it's true that in many of the titles shared between the consoles, you probably aren't going to be able to match the graphics quality of the PS4 or XBOX One in a side by side comparison, games can be beautiful and fun without needing photo realistic models. Nintendo has always had a way of taking its exclusives and flagships and producing visually stunning artistic landscapes (Zelda is just awesome) and pairing them with original scores that perfectly convey the emotions and mood of the moment. Most of the titles available on the more powerful systems are also available for the Switch (The Witcher 3, Red Dead Online, CoD, Battlefield). There may be reduced graphics compared to the others, but only enough to allow smooth gameplay. In my opinion, unless you are playing the same title on multiple consoles, the differences are unnoticeable while immersed in playing. The fact you can dock/undock without stopping your game, its compact size paired with a large screen, along with all the other little conveniences it has far outweigh a few slightly lower res shadows or textures.

Easy to install and play with. The price is good for the system but the games are expensive.

What more to say. This is the best console for my 10 and 6 year old. We have about 12 games by now and extra controllers. We love it. Animal Crossing is their favorite and they play it everyday. Hardware is marvelous and updates are easy to install. Everything is pretty intuitive and kids figure it all out pretty quick. Just let the adults set up the docking station to the tv.

We have an Xbox one but the new switch definitely fills a need. The games are great and the portability is awesome.
