Customers are delighted by the Switch 32GB Console's portability and the wide variety of games available. Many appreciate the console's fun factor, handheld design, and battery life. However, some users wish for more storage space and find the controllers somewhat uncomfortable. The console's size and build quality are also frequently praised.

Great Purchase!! My wife and I would play Mario Kart & Mario Party whenever we went to visit her family so, after we moved out of state, we decided to finally get a Nintendo Switch of our own so we can play with them online. It's a lot of fun! We highly recommend it!

There's a lot to like about the Switch. It's got Nintendo's nearly always stellar games, the console and controllers use USB C to charge instead of some expensive proprietary cable, it's portable and a home console. However, it's got it's problems too. The battery life isn't quite as long as I'd like it to be and even though it uses USB C many phone chargers that you have lying around the house will charge it slowly or, if you're playing it, not at all because of the higher power demands. While Nintendo does put out great games, they don't have a ton of them and I've been struggling to find things to play that aren't re-releases of games I have on the Wii-U or other systems. It's also expensive. If it weren't for the faults I've already listed I would say $300 is fine for the console itself, but that's not the only pricey part of this system since you are also going to need controllers and games. Many of you will already know that Nintendo's games very rarely get discounted, Smash Bros 4 (released 11/14/2014) and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (released 3/4/2016 and is a HD remaster of a game from 2006) both for the last generation Wii U are still $60, so you can't just wait a few months to save on games like with other consoles. On top of that the wireless pro-controllers, which I believe are a necessity for most games, are $70! You can usually find the Pro Controllers for $65 but both PS4 and Xbox One controllers can easily be had for under $50. Overall, I would recommend it as long as you've got the money to spare and won't mind if you run out of games to play on it for a bit while waiting for something new to come out, especially if you play a lot.

I have to say that I was very pleased with the Nintendo Switch. It's not the most powerful console, and the "controller" is not super comfortable to use (but it's not that bad). The fact that you can take the Switch on the go is interesting. I've not used it outside of the house, but I did take the Switch to my room when somebody else was using the tv. I've never been able to do that with any other major console. The inclusion of one controller is annoying. If you want to play with somebody else locally, another controller is needed and Nintendo charges a LOT for a controller.

Nintendo Switch: An Excellent Hybrid Experience

Familiar with both handheld and home console gaming alike on various systems, (NES, Gameboy, 64, Gamecube, DS, Wii, and 3DS), the Nintendo Switch was an exciting purchase for me because of its hybrid functionality. When it comes to the Nintendo Switch, the developers at Nintendo did not disappoint. Their team designed a sleek console and created an exceptional hybrid gaming experience with solid titles like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and others. Whether you are playing in the comfort of your living room on your TV, on a road trip, with a group of friends, or alone curled up in bed, the Switch's hybrid functionality makes it Nintendo's most innovative and flexible console to date, and it provides hours of entertainment for really any age. Regardless of how I choose to play a game, the design and flexibility of the Switch's Joy-Cons makes "switching" from different controller modes fun, and a super easy and intuitive experience. Pros: - EXCELLENT design of console and controllers - Console itself is very durable, docking it is straightforward and easy - Easy to switch from handheld, to Joy-Cons, to controller, etc. (satisfying, almost fun "click" sound when the controllers are attached in place), a sleek and intuitive experience. - Option of neon red/blue vs gray Joy-Cons (there are other color options as well, sold separately, or are available depending on what bundle you buy) - Graphics are excellent - Great sound - Both physical game cartridges and digital download options are available - Good storage space - Great game library - Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Yoshi's Crafted World, Super Mario Maker 2, Fortnite, etc. - Excellent overall user experience! Cons: - No backwards compatibility for older games on Wii or Wii U - Battery life could be a little better. For example, it's good for about 2.5-3 hours when playing Super Mario Odyssey in handheld mode. Overall, for the Nintendo Switch, I would say the positives far outweigh the negatives. In a nutshell, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this console! There's a great library of games on this system which all provide literally hours of fun for friends and family of really any age.

I liked my Wii U but it was lacking in the spark that the Wii and so many consoles before it gave me. This corrects any problem I had with the Wii U and takes my console experience up a level. Now not only can I sit at home playing a beautiful and fun new full Zelda game or anything else I buy for it, currently Splatoon 2 and Puyo Puyo Tetris. But now I can also take those same great games on the go and not have to suffer any graphical downgrade or not have my progress. It's a portable, it's a home console, and it does both very well. And many of the great games I enjoyed for the Wii U have been ported like Mario Kart 8 which I'm super tempted now to pick up again. It's worth it and I see my Switch getting hours out of me for years to come.

So I’ve been playing Zelda and rocket league. All my friend and I have been play rocket league for a while and having this on the go is great when we play together or other friends houses. Total package system just needs YouTube and Netflix along with the other various apps in the streaming world so that it fills the full package

I bought the Nintendo switch for added distraction from the news & politics on TV. It has far from served it's purpose. I find myself losing hours when I play. It's so much fun & not as aggravating to my carpal tunnel as the other game consoles. I highly recommend it.

Nintendo has mad a device that is perfect for gaming on the go or in your living room. It is so easy to switch between handheld mode and docked mode (it's almost instantaneous). They have a bunch of great games already out and a lot more on the way so if you are on the fence, you need to do yourself a favor and go ahead and buy one.

For now, unless you want to play Zelda: Breath of the Wild right now (and it is an excellent game) you'll probably be ok waiting until Nintendo has more content out for the Switch. It's a fairly bare bones system at the moment, with just a few handfuls of games available in the online store. There aren't really even apps available yet, despite that the system reminds me a lot of a Galaxy note. That said, when Nintendo finally gets it into gear, I imagine it will be a really fun system to own. It switches (hah) from handheld mode to tv mode and back very smoothly, the touch screen is nice (get a screen protector!), and the joy cons are decent. A more seasoned gamer may want to get the pro controller. I've had mine since launch night and have had no problems.

Is this Nintendos best console since Super Nintendo you ask? Yes it is. There is something for everyone here. The eshop offers plenty of deals. Online service is worth it for the Nintendo and Super Nintendo selections alone. Take Super Metroid or Breath of the Wild anywhere! Perfect for families. The only downer would be controller setup, which can be a hassle sometimes. Not 4K but who cares, the games are great. No Netflix, who cares, watch that on the other 10 devices you have. Just kick back and get some gamin on! Go get this thing!

System works great. With many local activities limited or canceled these days, this is the perfect system for the pandemic. It is a great way to play with friends online; take with you for a walk or even bring outside and play in the yard. It's versatility is perfect.
