What more can I say about this system! If you don't have a Nintendo switch, you need to go out and get one now! You can play the system on the go or you can use the dock to connect the system to your TV and play at home. This versatility is what gives this system such a huge appeal. Not to mention the first party and third party games that are available for the system, which for the most part are all extremely high in quality. Now the online functionality, an online menu still needs tweaking however it gets the job done. There are three versions of this system. The initial version that comes in a primarily white box which is the original, the second version which comes in a primarily red box which has better battery life and the smaller handheld only Nintendo switch lite. There aren't many bad things I can say about this system period in fact this system happens to be on my top three favorite systems of all time. To keep this review short, I'm going to reiterate what I've already said in the beginning . No matter who you are, or how old you may be, pick up the system and enjoy yourself.

Bought a ls a Christmas gift. Great system especially for my youngest. Lots of free family, friendly games that have given the kids and myself something to do on the weekends together. Love the ability to make it portable or do to play on the big screen TV.

I have 37 games for this console so far, and I’ve owned a Switch Lite for years. I decided I wanted to go ahead and get a main switch before the new Nintendo console came out. And I regret not getting one sooner. The screen and display is so much bigger and it runs my games better! I’ve already decided that I’m going to get an OLED switch as well so that way I can put the regular switch in my bedroom. I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of hours on the switch over the last 4 years and I’ve owned every Nintendo, Playstation, and Xbox since PS2. I can easily say this is the best console I’ve ever owned.

I went to my local Best Buy to check on a Geek Squad repair. While I was in line; I noticed a woman returning a Nintendo Switch. When she left, I asked Best Buy if I could purchase it. Originally I was told that all game consoles get sent back for refurbishing if they're used. I thought that made sense, and thanked them for taking the time to answer my question. While I was finishing up with Geek Squad, a manager approached me and asked if I was still interested in purchasing the Switch, I said of course. He explained to me that the Switch was new, still sealed, and therefor could be resold in store. He said people still return them to the store all the time. He also mentioned some people purchase them online, and never pick them up. There was actually a Switch waiting to get picked up that had been at the store for more than 21 days; in a few more days it will be going back on the shelves. The secret is luck and asking questions when you're in a Best Buy store. I still can not believe after looking around online for more than 6 months; I randomly purchased a Switch walking into my local Best Buy. I have seen these things being sold online for 3x the price. Do not do that! Sign up for alerts when items are out of stock now, and get notified when they're back in stock. One thing I did do prior to getting a Switch is I built up my little game collection. Whenever games went on sale, I bought them. I also bought the case when it went on sale too. The Switch does not come with any games or a case; so while you're waiting for the console to come back in stock; now would be a good time to go game hunting for some great deals. Also, for an extra $50 Best Buy will give you the 2 year warranty; I highly suggest purchasing it. Best of luck!

I love the portability of it! The games are very family friendly which is a plus. The fact it it leaves you were you last left of is an amazing feature. Great battery life as well.

Nintendo games are some of the most wholesome experiences out and fun for the whole family. With the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has outdone themselves by making a portable console you can plug into your tv making it a home console and giving you the best of both worlds. Here are some of my pros and cons: Pros: Portable-If you take any kind of public transportation having one of these is great since you can game on the way to work! Great battery life- This is a new enhanced model with the red box that gives much better battery lifer than the older one. I average 8 hours of screen on time. Unique gameplay experiences- You can't find something like ring fit anywhere else. Cons: Graphics- They aren't up to the standards of PS4 or Xbox One. Nintendo is usually a generation behind graphically and that continues here Display quality- The screen seems to have been downgraded from the earlier Switch model. Controller- It isn't the most comfortable to hold and causes my thumbs to get blistered/calloused. Overall, I still recommend the system as it's the only place you can get Nintendo game experiences and it's very cool to be able to have portable gaming wherever you go.
