It's super fun and better than I was expecting! The joycons do feel a little cheap on the plastic side, but it's still great overall. Got Animal Crossing: New Horizons as well and I 100% recommend the Switch to anyone! Get the V2 (Version 2), as I've heard the V1 has a lot of issues, same with the Switch Lite. Plus it's a much better deal to just get the regular console, over the Lite, 2-in-1 (carry and TV console) is always great.
