I got this for my girlfriend for her birthday. She has a hard time turning it off and putting it down, she loves it. Now she’s buying all these accessories to put on it. Sounds like we will have a seasonal theme now. I recommend this unless it you can’t get away from it!

He was so happy I bought it for us. It was easy to start up and use. It would be nice to have the Netflix app but I can take what is given

My son loves his new switch. He says that it it one of the best gaming systems he's had (and he's had a bunch.) He loves that it is portable or can be played on TV.

Wow, this console has something for everyone. My 9 year old girl loves it. My 17 year-old hard core PC gamer takes it everywhere and has Switch parties with other high schoolers. We sometimes play 8-person Super Mario Smash. My 75 year old parents sometimes play with us. It’s a lot of fun for all which I did not expect when I purchased it as a Christmas present for our youngest.

This is a great product for my child keeps her entertained on road trips. Has all the necessary plugs and attachment to keep kids and adults entertained for hours.

Great video game console. Great price. Even though it is on high demand, Best Buy did not overcharge it like other companies.

Got this new console system to replace older Wii and 3DS systems. The Switch was very easy to setup and the graphics are markedly better than the older systems, as would be expected. The system can operate as a traditional console with wireless remotes, as a Wii type system with movement or as a 3DS like handheld system. A really nice feature for parents is the phone monitoring app which allows parents visibility into games being played, hours spent on the system and even allows parents to set time limits. There were a couple sticking points I had with the unit but they weren't deal breakers. 1. Like with most game systems on the market, Nintendo nickels and dimes you for everything. The system includes two controllers and the base console but doesn't offer anything more than that. We needed to purchase two additional controllers, a charging kit for the controllers and a separate carrying case. Total cost in was almost double the cost of the base system 2. The charging mechanisms for the system seem limited. For example, although the system can operate as a 3DS type handheld, it does not come with a way to charge it as a standalone unit. I'm now looking at investing in yet another accessory, the Nintendo power pack In spite of the above, it appears as though Nintendo put some good thought behind the system itself and is looking to make this a platform they can continue to build from moving forward. More importantly, my kids love it.

This thing is amazing, the games, controls, portability and overall functionality is something like I dreamed about as a kid!

One for the kids. Then I had to have one. And then one for my mom and dad. They are pretty great little systems. Awesome for long trips. They would be even better if you could watch Netflix/Hulu, but still worth the money. Game selection has improved drastically since I first purchased. I do recommend getting a large SD card if you plan on buying games digitally.

The Switch has a lot of potential, but it hasn't been met yet. As of this post (mid-March) there are a lot of features missing. Nintendo promises these will be added soon, such as video streaming, online gaming and the virtual console. The cons are the battery life, left joycon issues, and the dock not being built very well and scratching the screen if you are not careful. Being able to take the system anywhere is a huge selling point, and Zelda is one of the best games I have ever played. The system itself is very light, the joycons (when working) provide a very relaxed and comfortable playing experience, and this thing seems like it was built for local multiplayer games. There are quite a few great games on the horizon, so hopefully Nintendo (and third parties) will keep delivering games worth playing on the Switch so this isn't Wii U 2.0.

Nintendo is back! After the failure of the Wii U, Nintendo has developed a console that has surpassed their original expectations. Great fun games and more to come.

I love my Switch. There is a nice collection of games with more coming soon. Their web service is going to get better by adding more content. This is worth the $299

This replaced an Xbox which also allows us to play as a family in one room and individually in another. Great innovation Nintendo!

If you have any interest at all in a Switch, just go ahead and get one now (well, when you can, as it seems like they're never in stock.) The Switch blends handheld and traditional console gaming in a way never before seen. While games may be a bit sparse in the early months, Zelda alone is worth the system purchase, and with Nintendo's stable of 1st party games, you'll end up getting your money's worth and more.

I originally bought this for my wife because she just had to have it. Turned out to be a pretty good family game for up to 4 people

I’ve had a switch in the past. But this V2 version is awesome. Better battery life for sure. My wife and I love it!
