I love this console! It is my main video game console now. It is so nice to have all my games portable to be able to take anywhere with me.

My son loves it. He can take it with him to his friends house, play on he TV or just bring it with him wherever he goes. He is never bored

Bought this for my 6 years old as a Christmas gift. Now the whole family is fighting for it. Very easy to use and the games are very nice.

The premise of a home console you can play anywhere is perfectly executed. The Switch DELIVERS. Going from TV to handheld and back is seamless and instant, especially if you have a TV that can "sync states" with devices attached to it. And the battery is big enough for a few hours of Zelda. The screen is very high quality. It is IPS and I found that it doesn't distort colors like some reviews have mentioned (one professional review actually said you should expect poor viewing angles because it's IPS, which just isn't true; IPS are the best LCDs suited for multiple viewing angles). When Netflix comes out or if someone is sitting next to you watching you play or groups playing Snipperclips, etc, everyone will be able to get an excellent view of the screen. No problems with viewing angles. And the color, luminosity and contrast are all superb. 720p is an understandable compromise. If it was 1080p, not only would the screen cost significantly more, but it would need a bigger CPU, GPU, and battery, all which would drive up the price to be exclusive. Nintendo does not want to be an exclusive company. And nothing looks pixelated — though you can see aliasing if you look for it. hough the joy-cons are small and seem like they'd be uncomfortable, I really like them, together or apart.

Great for the kids, (4 and 6) they love it. Easy to charge and compact enough to take anywhere.

Nintendo finally got it out of the park after the lackluster WII-U. Great console. Zelda, Mario, and Mario Kart are all great buys for it.

Nintendo is getting better and better every time. The graphics are great and the ability to play with multiple players is a great feature.

Love this console. I bought it specifically for Super Mario Odyssey, but there are plenty more games I will get too.

I was hesitant to buy this system because the only game I wanted was Super Smash Bros., which would mean I would be paying $360 to play one game. Fortunately, after doing some research, watching video reviews online, and Best Buy offering a $25 eGift Card with purchase, I caved in and bought it. THE GOOD: The system is easy to set up with very little instructions given. Expandable memory. I bought a 200 GB micro SD card for it. The dock is a lot smaller than I expected. The joy con controllers are nicer than I imagined. Plus, you get two joy cons so two people can play together. The portability of the system is nice, and I like that the dock allows you to play on the TV. THE BAD: When placed on the dock, the screen of the hand held portion is a little too close to the dock’s wall than I would like it to be. So, I bought a screen protector for the first time. It helps, but dust and air bubbles are hard to avoid when placing on the screen. OVERALL: It is a good system. I only have Smash Bros, Mario Odessey, and Mario Tennis right now. In 2019, there are some cool games coming out that I’d like to get, which will make buying a new system even more worth it.

Great for playing on your tv or play in handheld mode lounging on the couch. Huge variety of games for everyone.

For the value back in December of 2020, it was great. Still works like a charm 2 years later. Connect to the TV and have a charging dock, optional controller for single play, or have two joycon attachments for multiplayer. I wouldn't go for a lower model than this (Switch Lite users lol) Built in storage is lacking, so buy an additional storage card to store your games or additional media. Controller is a bit small and cramps my larger hands :')
