I was hesitant for a year until I bit the bullet. For years, I've always been about Xbox and 4K resolution and having something top of the line. One day I was talking to my intern at work and I bit the bullet on the switch not expecting much. It only had 1080p max graphics after all. I gotta say, I was shocked. I have found myself picking this up in either handheld, or docking this most of my days off. It's nostalgic to play some old games like Mario and Zelda, and the portability is the real sell for it. You can literally stop what you are doing in a game, and pick it up anywhere, either on handheld or TV. Due to the game design, you really don't notice the graphics aren't 4K, and most TVs upscale these days. Aside from games that are available across multiple platforms, most graphics are stunning, especially in Breath of The Wild. After buying one, I tell everyone else to get one now.

The switch is amazing, my 11 year old kid loves it. There are so many different games and none of them feel the same, As a handheld it feels so nice. As a home console it is still amazing. I prefer using it as a handheld but its is still great. I recommend this to people who wants a handheld or a home console and loves Nintendo.

Bought this as a home console for my kids, but with it's portable capabilities it's been a great travel companion for long trips.

My wife bought me the Switch for Christmas, such a great console. Lots of games and retro games as well!

great concept, ok execution. battery is below average the joy cons do lock into place when attached but they is still some give from front to back. if you are playing in tv mode you can only turn the console off by walking to the console something that can be fixed with an update and not really a big deal but its weird. saved game data is only stored locally on the switch not sd cards again something that can be fixed with a update but as of now no. left joy con sync issues are real, when my pro controller died (which you are going to need to buy if you play games on anything past the casual level) i had to use the joy cons with the grip to play and i only sit about 7 feet from the switch when in tv mode and left joy con had 0.0 connectivity. nintendo is asking that you make sure the switch isn't put near things like fish tanks and wifi routers so that it doesn't mess with the signal. from what online videos are showing are that the whole execution of the bluetooth in the controller was total garbage cheap antennae along with bad placement. there are some bright spot, the screen is real nice when playing Zelda the aspect of play anywhere is great but again that battery comes into place real quick.playing zelda on meduim brightness 2hrs 45mins. they say playign less taxing game will give you way more but while playing blaster master zero (which is a must have) i only got a little over 3hrs for a game that shouldn't be taxing the switch. a lot of these things will be fixed by nintendo within due time. also theres the whole online service that we no nothing about really. it is worth buying there are great game coming for this don't let this deter you from buying one. these are a lot of thing s nintendo won't tell you about some people don't have time to watch outage video reviews but maybe a couple ins to read a poorly written review .

Got for our youngest for Christmas. His first console for him. He loves being able to take it with him.

The Switch is awesome and fun to play with, especially with family. Pricey but worth it.

I love this console! The quality of each game seems flawless compared to other previous systems. The added bonus of being able to take it anywhere with you, with the same quality, and play! Playing with your friends without having to go over. You can play at a restaurant or beach. Fantastic for kids, adults, or anyone.

After having the Wii for years we were looking for something more modern with new / updated games. Although the visuals of the XBOX and PS4 are absolutely better, the portability aspect of the Switch + the new Mario titles, made this the right choice for us. Still hoping they re-release some of the older Mario games on the Switch as well

I grew up playing Nintendo so i had to get the switch to keep up with all the classic Nintendo games.

Lots of games to pick from, and I like how I can take the console with me on car/plane rides
