I can't think of a better gift to give a child that loves video games. Nintendo has all the kid friendly games and the price point for the Switch Lite isn't bad.

Pretty color, son plays with it all the time and ignores schoolwork so Nintendo is doing a great job along with the other video game companies of keeping our families entertained. My son was 45lb before this and is up to 70.

Bought this for my niece for her birthday! This was her first game console! She loved it! Got her the super Mario kart game to go with it!

As someone who uses their Switch primarily in handheld mode, I find the Switch lite to be much more comfortable, and practical to use as a portable/handheld console than the original model... While the screen is the same 720p resolution, the smaller 5.5" display actually makes games look a bit crisper due to the higher pixel density... Not being able to dock the console for TV play is a drawback, but only a slight one for me, as TV/docked mode was a feature I only used occasionally. So far, the controls have been very responsive, and I prefer the mushy feel of the D-Pad and face buttons on the lite, over the hard/clicky buttons on the Joy-cons; hopefully, I won't have problems with the analog sticks in the future, like some have reported on their original joy-cons, because everything is integrated in the system and cannot be easily swapped out.... As an aside; I really hope Nintendo brings that "flip cover" case to the US/NA, as it would significantly increase the portability.

got this for the wife and she loves it , build quality is great doesnt feel cheap at all , and battery life last very long

Great game system. It can feel heavy if one keeps playing games longer than an hour. I would recommend. getting an wireless controller or wired controller and stand to lesson the strain on your hands. None the less, the graphics are superb!!

This is a great game console. My daughter has been playing it since she got it Christmas morning.

We are very happy with this handheld only version. The buttons are more responsive, its lighter and it just feels more natural in the hands. We don't play Switch on the big screen anyway so this is perfect for its intended use.

Awesome value for the Lite system. Was skeptical at first but frankly think the Lite is better value than the original Switch. It is much smoother to hold in the hands as a portable unit with the only downside is the lose of TV connectivity.

Excellent and unique color for Nintendo Switch Lite. Also this Nintendo Switch fits perfectly inside the Travel case, but not enough room for charger.

The lite is very affordable with the same feel. Would def recommend for trips or car rides

We are a nintendo loving family and we passed that on to our daughter. She loves having her own switch full of her favorite Pokemon games.

My 5yo granddaughter absolutely loves her Switch Lite!! She loves that it is portable and is just the right size for her chubby little hands. ;)

I liked it better than I thought I would. It doesn't seem to have rumble or hdmi but it's very light and portable. The battery is also a plus.

great if you arent looking to have it on a big screen. small enough to travel with and the battery life is good enough to play some games on with a full charge.

Bought for my wife. It's just like the Nintendo Switch game unit but much smaller. You play the same games as you can in the full size Switch game unit. I bought it for my wife just over a week ago and so far she's loving it.
