Great value! My son loves the old school games. So many to choose from

I knew I would eventually have to buy this in order to play online and sure enough the time came. Going from free online to paid is kind of a bummer but the hope that with the added cost comes added features. Nintendo did add some much appreciated features but could still do better. Pros: Cheap compared to other services Cloud save back ups (Though some games dont let you like pokemon) NES Games available to play for free and can be played online though they are laggy online at times and its only a small selection. If they add SNES, N64, and GC games it could really improve this perk. Cons: Online service itself, online play, hasn't really improved since they started charging. This is the biggest factor in any online service is how well it works. And so far, the online experience ranges from great to really bad. Games like splatoon and mario kart run great. Smash bros runs really bad alot of the time and is a laggy mess. The service did not add any easy voice chat options So there you have.

Playing games online or just being able to browse the Nintendo store is a lot of fun. I get mine at BestBuy because it’s convenient and I trust that it will be activated on checkout.

If you like to play the original Nintendo games, this is your best bet!

I like how Nintendo’s full year of online membership is 19.99 whereas Xbox and Sony have there’s at 50 dollars+ would recommend if you want to play online with friends (smash bros, Mario kart and I believe fortnite needs this as well.

If you want to play games with your friends you will need a nintendo online membership. it’s a bit of a cash grab but there isn’t a way around it. you get a free one week trail and then you have to pay to play games with your friends. this is the best deal available. if you lnow you aren’t going to be playing online much it still will be worth it because out of all of the packages this would be the cheapest over time. if you don’t plan on playing online then don’t waste your money on one of these, but if you want to play a co-op game or just something like minecraft or animal crossing with friends this is the best plan available. you can just get a one month plan or a 3 month plan but for a full year $20 is a steal!

This gift card was purchased in conjunction with a Nintendo Switch lite, and given as a Christmas present. These gift cards are very easy to use, and feel safer than using a debit card online.

The cheapest online membership out there. Fun way to play with others online to broaden your gaming experience. Only thing I don’t like is you can’t chat with friends with the console. You have to use a different app on your phone.

We get this membership for my son at Christmas each year. Its perfect because it allows him to play his games with his friends even when they are not at our house. Also, it lets him buy additional games online.

My daughter loves her switch, and the friends she has brought into online, Covid makes it hard to keep up with your friends but in this online platform she can meet up and play with her friends.

The subscription is so worth the $20.00 plus tax and it is for the whole entire year too.

My son bought splatoon 2 as one of his games he was very excited about it. He could not get in to turf wars, league battles, ranked battles, samon run just to name a few, without the online membership. He was disappointed when he couldn't go any further in the game without the membership. So I got the 1 year membership because it came with some free games, but now he is able to get into those battles he couldn't get into before. So he is able to do more on the splatoon game now he levels up and can get gear with each level he completes. Now he is addicted and it's very hard to get him to put the switch down. I would recommend for anyone is is planning on buying the splatoon game to invest in the 1 year membership, otherwise the game is pointless.
