    Nintendo switch online is the same thing that the previous online used to be with nothing changed at all but the price. Online is peer to peer and nintendo does not host servers meaning they are getting money for free. Nothing has been improved at all from when it was free and the fact virtual console is gone is to restrict you into buying this instead getting some nes games compared to the competitors (which you can't even configure your buttons...). It is cheap and even cheaper if you split with the family plan but the fact that it is so outdated that all the games that you need this for won't even let you voicechat is the whole cake itself (you need a separate app for that which you also need to use to regular chat). The icing itself is all the sour problems that comes with this service. You're basically forced to pay for this to play online so a lot of people don't have a choice, myself included. I can't recommend this but you need it so well. Don't know what to say. To those that don't play online unlike the rest of us, good for you. Only reason that it gets a star is because it's cheap and I feel like I'm really stretching and justifying that extra star.
