Pros: Cheaper than the price of XBL and PSN’s online by $40 The code on the card worked Cons: The fact it costs anything at all Some of the biggest games (Smash Bros.) have bad lag because of a lack of dedicated servers If you want to play online, you have to get this. It IS cheap in comparison to other online play memberships, but it’s benfits are minimal in comparison. Some games still use peer-to-peer, meaning everyone connects to one another’s consoles instead of a dedicated server. This also means that if one person has a bad connection, so will everybody else. The other thing it gives you is the ability to play some NES games via an app. It works fine, but that’s little incentive to buy it and most people I know and myself rarely use it (if ever). In short, buy it if you really want to play online, but don’t expect a difference in quality compared to when it was free.
