Well Nintendo did it again. My teenage boys love their switch and are already buying accessories for it.

Cheaper than PsN and xBox network. Mostly use on OG games online.

Great features, enjoy the online games, has lagged in the middle of matches but not consistently.

I personally think the Same is a waste of money. But my kids wanted one. I bought the online pass and set it up on my account because Nintendo makes you set up an account as the administrator then add your kids. Well now they have to play on my account. I don't care because I don't play on the switch but they already had progress under their own names.

It’s fun to play with your friend online. I have an Xbox and PlayStation and this more affordable.

The free content is decent if you can find it. Better than paying the Xbox subscription fee .

It’s exactly what you’d expect from a Nintendo online service!

the purchase was fueled solely by the need to play smash online since a majority of my friends live across the US. As a service I have to pay for I find the nintendo online service to be lack luster and a blatant cash grab. I have experienced similar amounts of lag as i did on the WII U for smash, splatoon, and mario kart. The complementary NES games only serve as a reminder the vastly superior virtual console won't be returning with its library. The cloud save bit is neat except the fact that not all games get backed up and there isn't local back ups available. it isn't worth 20 dollars a year, it isn't worth 4 dollars a month, it isn't worth your time, but if you want to play smash brothers online with friends then it is a requirement. Though maxing out the number of the people on the family plan is a much more worth while venture, but a word of warning there is no discount from nintendo if you want to upgrade to the family plan from an individual.
