I Bought this for someone I meet that owned a Nintendo Switch. All she had to do was enter the code and and it her access to online features. Simple and straightforward!

Nintendo's online service is not as full featured as their competitors, but at $20 per year, it's good enough if you plan on playing games online or want to dip into the NES library.

I like that I can access older games on my Switch using the online service. I wish there was a way to buy more than one year at a time but that is a limit I will live with.

After getting the Switch, you need to get the subscription to be able to play online. Also, you will have access to lots of original Nintendo games, that's included in the membership.

I absolutely love the switch online. It gives you a lot of old Nintendo games to play, and you can play a lot of games with friends. I would defiantly recommend all switch owners buy it!!

This was a simple birthday present for myself. I like the free NES and SNES games that come with the membership. Also Mario Maker 2 is a good game to spend time on.

I am very happy that it comes with a small library of NES games for free, complete with save and stop states. I do wish Nintendo's online would be a bit better for games like Super Smash Bros because there's always some amount of lag and hangtime. It makes online unbearable many times.

Great price for an online subscription for one year. It offers online access to all the switch games and the price is way cheaper than a 1 year xbox live or pan subscription.

Does what it suppose to do, just a yearly card to play online

Nintendo is now charging for the online multiplayer portion of their games, nothing new if you're a PS4 or Xbox player. The plus side is that the cost for the year is only $20 compared to the cost of the other two consoles, and another perk is the ability to play classic NES games such as Zelda or Super Mario 3, currently about 20 NES games are available with the promise that more will be added in the coming months. the downside is that this new service is simple and lacks some basic features we as gamers have become accustomed to having on a console such as getting a party system, friend invites, voice chat, etc. for $20 I still would give the service 4/5 stars (always room for improvement), and with the release of Super Smash Bros next week, having the online functionality is a must for me

$20 for a full year of online play, and access to a number of free games... from the excellent Tetris 99 to a bevy of original Nintendo games. Voice chat, etc.. can't beat this value.
