If you have relatively good internet, get it. It allows you to play tons of games online, and is basically required for some games. $20 for a year is also an amazing price when compared to other subscriptions. Just get it, that's all I can say.

Great product for the price So many ways to use it

I ordered this for my son for Christmas. This will go with his Nintendo switch that I got from Best Buy also. The online shopping was easy and the shipping was on time. My son will be happy with the 12 month membership.

This gives you online play, and online saves, as long as you maintain a membership. It's unacceptable that Nintendo strong arms you with this pay to play membership in order to do a backup of your saves, but you do get a bunch of classic NES games However if you bought a NES classic mini, the games are basically the same

If you game online with a Switch, as my daughter does, then you will need pay for the service and using this 12 month membership card was the easiest way to do it as well be small enough to be a stocking stuffer! There were no issues activating the membership.

Easy gift for a 13 yr old! When we scratched to back of the card for the code it was ineligible but Nintendo made it easy to still use due to good customer service!

Make sure you keep your receipt but It worked for me first try.

It does it purpose but jsut make sure to not scatch it to hard or you could ruin the print on the code.

Compared to Xbox and PS4 where the online is $60 for a year, this is online for a third of the price. Who can complain about that? Only wished the online features were a little better but its pretty good considering the price.
