I bought my daughter the Nintendo Switch and she wanted to play online with friends. I'm not big on Nintendo products so I didn't realize it was needed until getting home. Nonetheless, she up a going. $20.00 for a year of online service, I wish PlayStation and Microsoft would do the same.

Good deal for the price

Xbox and PlayStation have had this service for a while. So while the Nintendo offering is not as extensive it is notably cheaper. In my opinion the value is equal to competitors and will only become advantageous over time as Nintendo makes more games compatible with Nintendo Switch online.

Requirement for the switch
