Wii u still uses Wii controller so it makes it easier for my young kids to play games vs the Xbox controllers. Plus, games like Mario and Kirby are perfect for them

I had always been hesitant to purchase a Wii U due to being unsure if it would play all my games. So glad I finally stepped up. The Wii U is a big hit in our home.

I wood recommend this product to have a fun family time especially in rainy days. I have a special needs child and he really enjoys it and interact with all of us.

I got this for my 8 year old grandson for Christmas. He loves it and the Mario games. Good clean fun for young kids. He enjoys playing games with his mom and dad.

Brings me back to when I was young. Such a big step up from the Wii and I love the fact it's completely backwards compatible. No need to purchase new controllers!

The wii-u is excellent for kids especially small kids has perfect games for them. Controls are good size viewing clean on main controller is excellent for kids.

I own a ps4 and mostly play games like cod or Fifa but it's nice to tone back and play some of the classics like Mario and Zelda and Wii Sports is always fun.

Dollar for dollar, this system gives you a lot more than the others. With the game included, it's a nice bonus.

Easy to set up easy to play. I got this for my 5 year old she loves the dancing games but needs help with Mario cart. But loads of fun and worth the buy.

We upgraded to the Wii U from the Wii and I'm very pleased with that decision. Installation of the game system was simple & the directions were very clear. We also easily transferred our game data from the old system to the new so we didn't lose our progress in the original Wii games. We didn't anticipate having to set up a Nintendo account, but that only took a few minutes, so just be aware that this step is necessary. The preloaded MarioKart 8 game has been a lot of fun and with so many add-ons available online, I'm sure we'll be playing this game for a very long time.

This is a nice upgrade from the original Wii system and its a great family console. Nice that it came loaded with Mario Kart 8, one of our favorite games.

I bought this console to play with a group of friends. Whether it be Mario Kart 8 or Super Mario Bros, it is a sure fun time for the family and friends.

So far we have tried Marion Kart 8, Super Marion 3D world, Zelda Windwaker , Cpt Toad Treasure Cracker and Donkey Kong Country - all 5 games are great and a lot of fun, both single and multi player. I really like the fact that you can play all those games directly on the controller/handheld screen w/o a TV in any room of your house (as long as you are in controller range of the Wii U). Only drawback is that the number of games is very limited and not many new game are coming either, so if you are not into Super Mario & co then you would be off better getting a PS4.

Pros: Access to every Nintendo title (and there are lots of excellent ones - Mario Kart 8 alone is great), graphics are very good, color is incredible - bright and pleasing to the eye, lots of options for the controllers (wii remotes, wii remotes with nunchucks, wii remote in a wheel, gamepad, more traditional controller), tried and true motion control system, thoughtful accessories included like a stand for the gamepad as well as a charger, old Gameboy Advanced games can be purchased & played on the gamepad completely separate from the tv, good parental controls, gamepad can be used as a remote for the tv - which you never knew you needed til you have it, fun multiplayer and social options. I could go on. Cons: Gamepad is the only controller that comes in the set - everything else will have to be purchased separately, new games can be just as expensive as ps4 or xbox games, wii controllers take some getting used to if not used to motion capture or two handed play, home screen is a little dated, gamepad holds fingerprints, looks like the system is on its way out... I admit to some bias, as I have had a Gameboy Advanced, a DS, a DSI, a first generation 3DS and a new 3DS. I skipped the Wii however and had little interest considering it's inferiority to the PlayStation. The Wii U is the first time Nintendo even nears the big two.

Super awesome gaming system! Love the games, graphics and over all operation of the remote and system. Super easy to set up also. Definitely recommend!

Nintendo - Wii U 32GB Console Deluxe Set with Mario Kart 8 is amazing and Nintendo does it again. Fun for the kids for hours and hours and parents too!

If you don't already have Mario Kart 8 what do you really have??? Life isn't complete without throwing down the gauntlet n challenging your 10 year old kid to some good ole fashioned, paint trading racing. Not to worry, there are many types of carts n bikes n plenty of accessories n characters to choose from. Over 32 different courses to race as well. What more could ya want??? Oh, the entire unit of course. Well this Wii U comes with Mario Kart 8 loaded on it. Can you say BONUS!?!? Among the other fun things Wii U has to offer is Netflix n online capabilities.

Purchased as Christmas gift for 3 grandkids ages 5-8...each one (1 boy/2 girls) is easily able to fully operate & enjoy the games ...even the 5 yr old
