I bought this some time around Christmas where it had $50 discount deal. I had always loved Mario and Yoshi since I was a kid. This comes with a pre-installed (free) Mario Kart 8 game. I'm excited to get more Wii U games soon and a Pro Controller for 2nd player co-op.

I got this on a whim, I've had almost all Nintendo gaming systems and this one is just as fun. The graphics are great. I really like that my Wii controllers worked with this system and I did not have to go out and spend more money.

I have a wii u and it is a great console. It has a lot of fun games. Great graphics. Online stuff like miiverse ,Netflix and Hulu plus. And almost every single game is fun and not a penny too much money.

easy set up, and lots of exclusives. Mario games appeal to all ages, and there are many different types.

I appreciated the fact that Mario game was bundled with the console, making this a much easier choice for a gift ( could be put to use right away)

My son researched this product for a long time before buying it. He saved for months to get this even though we have an x-box one. He loves that he can play on the game pad while we watch tv and latter play on the big screen. He also loves that it is tied to his 3ds account. He gives this a big thumbs up!!!

The Wii U gets a bad rap because of its status as a commercial failure but this machine is a ton of fun. The game pad is somewhat gimmicky but you quickly adapt to it and it becomes a real asset on games such as Zombie U. There isn't as much horsepower under the hood here compared to its rivals but I hardly notice it. Nintendo has done a masterful job creating sharp graphics. Many games run smoothly at 60 fps as well. The WiiU also boasts some of the finest Nintendo games ever produced...Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD, Super Mario Maker, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Captain Toads Treasure Tracker. I just bought Star Fox Zero as well. The gameplay and art style are instantly recognizable as classic Nintendo. The HD graphics look fantastic and you also get backward compatibility with your old Wii titles. This console will provide countless hours of fun. I think history will be kind to the Wii U and it will one day be revered as an under appreciated gem like the Sega Dreamcast is.

This is a Christmas gift. It looks awesome. They will have a blast with this Wii u.

The transition from the Wii to the WiiU was seamless everyone enjoys this. We especially enjoy that one can be playing a game on the hand-held while others watch tv or listen to music uninterrupted

No issues. Love this system. More kid friendly games and learning games.

Nintendo and their systems and games are good and last awhile.

Nintendo wii u is a great small console with fun games. Cool original controller and comes with mario kart 8 plus great price. How great is that. Highly recommend for any real gamer.

My son really loves this console and the Mario Kart 8. So far he does not have any problem yet.

I love the Wii U! This system has a great core group of games to play despite lacking a lot of good titles.

This is my sons favorite console and he has them all. He can play the game without turning on tv.
