At first I didn't really want a console with MarioKart already loaded, I would have preferred the one with Mario Maker. However I chose this one because it was on sale. I'm so glad I did. This version of MarioKart is so fun, and my whole family loves playing it! We've also played Mario Maker as well, and it is a cool game, but we definitely have more fun playing MarioKart 8.

Great for Everyone

The kids (nephews and niece) are glued, which frees me up. Love it! The only downfall is that it does not have as much games as the PS4 or Xbox One. But I grew up Mario Brothers so it's great for me as well. I have both the PS4 and Wii U so the kids switch back and forth when the come visit.

So much fun

We have a PS4 and the games I feel are more for just 1 person to play. The Wii U comes with Mario Kart code inside it to load to your Wii. We have hours of fun playing it together. I do recommend buying the new Wii remote with the motion plus in it. They are more sensitive then the old Wii remote and do have an advantage when you play.
