I think this is a great game system, but I can't believe that Nintendo made it so the main control (the selling point of the system - tablet remote) does not work with every game. You basically have different controllers for each game and some work and some do not. The game will actually tell you to get another controller (pay attention to the back of games they will tell you which ones are compatible). Backhand way for them to make you spend more money - not cool.

We recently upgraded from our original Wii to the Wii U and we couldn't be any happier! The dual screen option of the Wii U Game Pad is perfect for our one tv solution for when the kids want to play something on the Game Pad yet the rest of the family wants to watch something on TV. We can't wait to expand our Wii U game library and love that we can still play our Wii games on this console as well.

Its fun to play with group of people. They easily enjoy it. It makes the party alive.

The wii U mario cart bundle was worth every penny. I'm giving a 4 star review because although the console is nice, it does scratch easily (warning). I also play with a gamecube controller for Smash Bros. and it works fine, but should be able to have more controller compatibility. The wii U gamepad doesn't really last all that long either (battery wise) so if you do plan on using the game pad be sure to have your charger close by because the gameplay will be happening on the gamepad as well as the tv. If it were possible to turn the gamepad screen off and use it as is it would be flawless. For now you have to buy a wii U controller separately.

We love this Wii U console. It doesn't, (or atleast when I was reviewing this product), list that it comes with the sensor bar but it does and all the hookups you need to plug into your hd tv. Set up was easy & fun creating our avatars. :D Our tv is mounted to the wall and the sensor bar cord is long enough to place on top of the tv to where the cord plugs in incase this was a concern for anyone.

My family loves the Wii U we just purchased. There are so many games to choose from but the Mario Kart 8 that comes included is amazing! We get so competitive and we have such a great time playing it. This console is perfect for anyone no matter the age.

The system was easy to install. The kids and I have had a great time playing this game system. It was an excellent purchase for us.
