Love the New Game System

We also love the new Mario Kart and all of that game's upgrades and additions. We are very happy with our purchase.

Great Nintendo product...executed wrong

It was to help amplify the benefits of the Wii while also adding a new way to interact with your games. However, several factors led to its poor sales. First: NAME. Adding a U at the end did not make it stand out as a new device. The main console looked almost exactly like the Wii but laid down. Second: MARKETING. Showing mostly the controller made it appear as just an add on accessory. Many people were confused but happy enough with their Wii instead of spending extra money for "just a controller". Third: GAMES!! Just like the NES, Nintendo control constrained developers and many were turned off to develop for Wii U. In today's gaming, you gotta keep up with multi platform developing to be able to get your console out there. Granted their are the few console exclusives, but if that's all you got you will only show up 12 million sales. If you do your homework and research you'll know the benefits of this device. If you want to purchase this device for what it has now, go for it. HOWEVER, the Nintendo switch is fast approaching for its March 2017 release. So if you don't have a recent Nintendo product but want to get into it soon, be patient and hold off for the switch.
