I like the fact that he can play on the Wii Game Controller and still have the TV doing something else. Only real issue is the memory storage. I bought it unknowingly preloaded with Mario Cart 8. I assumed it was going to be a hard copy. Just that one game took up a big chunk of available storage space. So I know I need to buy hard copies of games to maximize storage space. I have more storage space on my iPhone. So Nintendo needs to fix that. Other than that it would have received 5 stars in my opinion.

Great for the kids

I wanted to get him something more kid friendly so I chose the Wii U. The tablet feature is awesome because the adults can still watch TV and he can play his game or be on the Internet that we can still monitor.
