I bought this for my son and he loves it. At 6 years old the parental controls let me allow him to play age appropriate games and restrict Internet use age. The issue is the wireless card in the device has issues. With 80 percent signal strength my son would constantly came out saying it did t have internet so he couldn't play splatoon. I would run the connection test and it would be successful only for it to happen 30 minutes later. Assigning a static IP address seems to have resolved that.

A ton of fun games, especially if you have kids. If you love Mario, you must get Super Mario Maker, and Mario 3D world.

Having Mario Kart again was a good reminder of the N64 days. The kids love playing a large array of games, and it's awesome to finally have an HDMI option for the Wii. The Wii U touch screen controller is also state of the art and allows the kids to play quietly without the TV even being on!

We purchased this because old Wii quit working and we still had games we wanted to play and this allowed us to do that.

Wish they would make more sports related games as my 6 year old loves sports and EA an 2k stopped making popular sports games like Madden and nba2k that my son loves even though he might not be great at them yet. But he also loves all the Mario based games , and they are more at his level. Also have to take into account the new system the switch is coming out later in 2017

So excited to give this to my son for his 5th birthday. He loves playing the Mario Kart demo in the stores, and we plan to also get the Star Wars game...

If you're looking for a game console for young ones or you know that someone likes Nintendo products then this is a good way to go. I also enjoyed using the console itself to play a number of games but you will have to buy extra controllers if there are more people using it.

My eight year old managed to break the controller screen by dropping it and having it hit the corner of a bookshelf. The outer screen did not break, but the inner screen shattered. Luckily I am able to fix that sort of thing, but it cost $30 for a new screen. The games however, are top notch, just make sure your child is strong enough to hold this huge controller.

Purchased a Wii U for my son's birthday. So far he is enjoying and you can play via game pad only as well!

Very best product. My kid is enjoying this product and even being a father to him, I am playing with him.

While there are not as many options for games as the Xbox or Playstation, the Wii U keeps the sense of fun and competition that has been part of Nintendo as long as I can remember. The included Mario Kart 8 is a great addition to a series of already great racing games.

Love the console. Some of the games are misleading since I am from the original NES era. Easy to use.

It was a gift for my girlfriend and daughter. They enjoy it. Only drawback is Hulu does not work on it.

They really enjoy playing with the game they get about Mario bros its old game and it never gets boring

My daughter loves this,so does her 40 year old father. I grew up with Nintendo and love the graphics and technology advancement. We love to play Mario Cart And race against each other. Awesome fun for the whole family. Best Buy always has the best prices and selection.

Grandson and I enjoy playing the game system together. Not too difficult for a grandparent to learn.

Again, Nintendo has a family fun system. Great games for kids and older titles that I remember from years ago (older systems). Son finds the video chat amazing. Let's him connect and see his friends. I like that I can play old Sega and Nintendo games from back in the day.

I bought this for my son’s first gaming system and it is so versatile. Two years later we are enjoying it and not only does he love the games but we also use it for family entertainment.

I bought this as a gift for our grandson, who loves it, along with his father, who play this system every day. He had requested this after seeing a demo display and pleaded for one. What could I say? Engaging entertainment, the family can't wait to take turns.

this console is very good to play bad family but it is that there is not much variety of video games
