The Wii U is not an XBox One or a PS4, but it is a fun system that is needed to play some great Nintendo exclusives. The backwards compatibility with Wii games is what sold me completely on this system as opposed to just getting an original Wii. The gamepad is gimmicky, but I mostly use the Wii remote controllers anyway.

Really happy with this new console from Nintendo, it makes me really happy that we can download old school games and also have the fun new games. Definitively happy with my new Wii U.

It's a great family console. Don't expect to have games that XBOX or Playstation has. The menu and set up for games online and redeemng codes can be complicated but it's otherwise great.

Wii u is a great family console, if you're looking for a console for your family this is it! But if you mainly play on your own, I suggest a PS4, I have both and I tend to gravitate towards the PS4 over playing solo on the Wii u. If you like games online and buy the Wii u , Splatoon is one of my favorites.

Excellent console, and a lot of new features. You may still need your old wii controllers though,so don't throw them away. The kids love the game, so I consider this a great buy..

My kids love it. There are a lot of good games available on this system for youngsters and preteens. May not be suitable for the high school crowd that like games with more "edge".

My kids begged me for this since it came out. Finally I purchased it and they play it almost every day. We have had it for over a year now and have had no problems with it.

I did not want a game console that primarily has games for killing and theft. WII offers more children games than the other companies.

This is a great system! Kids love it and would never put it down if they had a choice. Only problem and why I gave it 4 stars is bc the controller with the screen we thought it was a whole other portable system which gave it the nod over other systems. We should have done better research and we will in the future

I have waited for my child to play video games because I didn't want them to just sit there. I like that it has games you have to move around to play and keep you moving around.

Bought this to replacing my wii, that started to have a failing disc drive after 10 years of use. Glad this console is backwards compatible for the games my kids like playing.

The best so far! It brings me back my childhood days playing this classic super mario. The quality is great and the touchpad is so amazing where you can play it without the tv.

Had a great experience. Came in looking for an older item but the specialist helped me upgrade my gaming system and got me to a much better gaming experience over all. Thank you.

I have a 9 and 5 year old and they are able to use this system with ease. Not sure I needed to buy any additional games since the best one (Mario Kart) came with the system :)

This is a great system for our 7-year old and it's nice that the controllers from our Wii system are also compatible with this one. The pre-installed Mario Kart game is awesome.

It's a great addition to our collection. We have a lot of Wii games that are compatible too. I love that we are able to play with the pad alone so someone else can use the TV.

I bought it expecting to play newer versions of nintendo games. Didn't even know about the virtual console it had on it. The virtual console in itself makes this worth buying.

My nephew was excited about opening this product. He has been able to use this equipment to assist in his educational home schooling as well. So worth seeing him learn more!!

I thought after the system had been out awhile it would be a bit less expensive but this one comes with an expansion pack with more races and characters so it was worth it.

Booth this for my granddaughter. She loves it, as does the whole family. Staff very helpful with purchase. A bit difficult to set up but once it is working it is great.
