Swing and a miss with the screen controller. It's cool, and I'm sure it's great with some games, but if I have TWO other types of controllers attached to the console, don't make me get the screen controller to do anything. I bought this console to play Super Smash Bros with my GameCube controller, so the amount of setup required, and the amount of setup required with the screen controller in particular, was just unacceptable. Especially since I wasn't playing online. What happened to the days of turning on a console and just playing a game? If anyone, I would assume Nintendo would stick to this the longest.

Bought this as a Christmas present for the family. Kids love it, husband loves it, it's all in all a success.

Say what you will about the Wii u being a failure and underpowered...still the best exclusive games on any system

The wii u system is a much improved platform over the wii. The game pad itself makes this an exceptional system.
