Nioh 2 improves on the original in every way. Great graphics. Fluid gameplay. So many build options. I put 450 hours in and I’m stoked for the DLC!

Bought for my girlfriend, and watching her play, this is a fun and challenging game. Very similar to Dark Souls type of gameplay where timing is key.

This game is a gem and the steelbook is great. It's nice getting the season pass included, if you have games club it's cheaper than base game msrp

They changed up some of the builds from the 1st game. Also seems like the NG is harder the 1st go around. Solid game, better then the 1st imo.

Nioh 2 is very difficult at first but once you get the hang of it and build your character up you eventually start to enjoy it lol

Just buy it. It's amazing - I know I'm prob in the minority but the original was my GOTY. Hyped for this one, and it didn't disappoint.

No easy mode here. Very frustrating, but satisfying when you complete a mission. If you are fan of Dark Souls, then this game is for you.

BUY THIS GAME. Its a great follow up/ prequel so playing Nioh won't affect this. More combat choice, character customization and more.

This game is a souls style game. The combat is perhaps even more fluid than Bloodborne and certainly more in-depth and complex.

Gameplay is fluid. Deep character customization. The new mechanics are not too overwhelming. It's pretty much Nioh 1 but better.

Although it may be described as a souls borne game Nioh has enough of it own character to make it different and this second installment has even more. The special edition with its extras may not be for everyone, but the season pass with probably be worth the extra cost.

A lot of reused assets and the spirit forms are pretty pointless in this game. The first game made your transformations feels like something but here, the average enemy will slap you out of your spirit form as if your just a goon yourself. The game uses way too many assets from the first game and the enemies are annoyingly OP. I've played the souls games and sekiro and all those but this is honestly just annoying. I do like that you can play with three players this time around and from the start if you want. The story however is really bleh the main character is just as bleh as the story

Seriously, after the tutorial there is a huge boss that killed me probably 35 times. I thought the game had accidently put me hours into it or something. No way this was the first part of the game, right? 3 hours later I bested the beast because I learned the controls of the game and used the mechanics, which are smooth. I felt crazy accomplished! Next enemy killed me in 5 seconds. Welcome to Nioh2! Only purchase If you are willing to submit to a games controls and mechanics to proceed.

An absorbing, tense and well-wrought samurai adventure let down by a little too much recycling and some muddled new systems.

Nioh 2 is easier than Nioh 1. I already got the Platinum Trophy . The game is easier than Nioh 1 in many ways.
