Customers are saying
Customers express satisfaction with Nioh's engaging gameplay, compelling story, and immersive setting in feudal Japan. Many praise the variety of weapons and intense action, although some find the game's difficulty challenging and the initial learning curve steep. A few players noted that level design could be improved, and some found the controls initially unusual. Overall, the positive feedback on gameplay and story outweighs concerns about difficulty and other minor issues.

Must Play Game on PS5.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is awesome especially on the PS5 and way cheaper than the remake that costs $75 with tax. Great game especially if you like the Souls series of games. Plus the frame rate is unlocked so you will get a smooth 60fps on the PS5.

It’s ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reminded me of onimusha, like that aspect but a bit hard so far. Never been a dark souls fan..too much like that with onimusha paint job

A New Kind of Souls Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's brutally challenging, and features a risk reward combat system that works really well. The graphics in my opinion could be better, but I'm assuming it's to help with frame rates, because game play never lags or slows down to unplayable. So if you like the idea of a Samurai Dark Souls game, Nioh is definitely a buy.

Japanese themed Hack and Slash
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another new entry in the "souls" genre, this one has quite a different flavor and is quite a worthy contender.

Good exclusive, and difficult.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is fun. Think of it as a Dark Souls at in feudal Japan. Very challenging, but good fun.

Hack-n-Slash!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty good story and action overall. Not quite Dark Souls challenging, but satisfying nonetheless.

Samurai Souls!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this is not a Dark Souls game, it is hugely influenced by the series and is a great example of great execution of someone else's idea. Nioh is a little faster paced than Souls games, and has it's own quirks, but if you like Souls and Bloodborn, you will like this

Less Dark Souls, More RPG Ninja Gaiden
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Story: Probably this game's weakest point, but it's still good. It does make you care about the characters, but at times there are pacing issues, and it does feel like it just drops you directly into an already in progress game, not that you're beginning from the start. That could be a good or bad thing depending on who you are and how quick you like to get into games. The Co-op: Despite what others reviewers are saying, the co-op is as advertised pre-launch of the game. You do have to beat the levels before you can help co-op in them, but they are all fun enough that it's not a chore to redo them multiple times. In addition to this, which is semi-Dark Souls like, there is an alternate mode in which you both act a the host of the world and both progress through from the start. The catch to this one is, that if you die, you do not get kicked back to your world. Instead, you stay dead in the world and must be revived by your partner to continue fighting. This uses up a sort of shared life meter that will run out as you die/revive. Once it's gone, it's game over.

Great game but not my style
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a huge dark souls fanatic, this game is for you. If you like ninja garden with based in feudal Japan, you will love the environment. Though it takes a lot of replay of scenes if your down.. as long as you make it to a light, your golden! No pun intended *see free armor gifted by team ninja*

Finally!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been waiting for an adult game to compete with the Dark Souls series, and Nioh is it! Actually, Nioh far surpasses Dark Souls in just about every way. Complex and deep upgrade system, combat that requires actual thought, and rewards for learning. I'm not really sure what there is bad to say about it.

One of the best games I've ever played
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Take diablo, ninja gaiden, and dark souls mash em up and you get this masterpiece. I like this more then dark souls. The combat is by far better and more smooth. If you want something refreshing definitely pick this up, but if you do not need another addiction in your life stay far away from this one.

Great Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nioh is an excellent game that has the difficulty of a From Soft game, but more complicated mechanics and magic. The game looks great and is a lot of fun if you are patient and learn the movements of the enemies. Highly recommend for fans of Darks Souls and Bloodborne.
