Its a Dark Souls type of game but faster pace. I loved all the Dark Souls games so I had to give this a try. A big difference is that you are put on individual missions instead of it being a giant open world adventure.

The game is not bad. It starts out slow Since you need to learn all the basic mechanics of the play to progress. Anyway, it’s a difficult game me.

I finally decided to buy this game and glad I did. I reminds me a lot of Dark Souls. I have a weak spot for games like this. Buying a PS4 for great exclusives such as Nioh was a worthy investment.

Similar to the soul series but with it's own twist

I think they really nailed it on this game. It does have that Dark Souls feel to it. It has parts that are easy, parts that are super frustrating, some bosses that are just plain OP. What else can you ask for?

Tough, tough, and more tough. This game can be unforgiving but once you began to get a grip on its mechanics then you will find a satisfying experience.

If you like a challenge, or any of the souls games...then this is for you. Honestly, I can't go back to souls or bloodborne after playing nioh. It's so fluid and the story actually engages you, not confuses you.

The combat and the game are beautiful. I love just roaming around and exploring. I wasn’t expecting much from this game but the price was right and I got more than I ever expected.

Great challenging game. It’s still fun if you’re up to a challenge and graphics are still great. For the price and fun level it is not wonder it is one of PS hits.

This game is hard but you feel so accomplished after getting past parts you get stuck on. It's challenging and can be frustrating but the game just makes you learn and adapt to what you're fighting. I enjoy it.

Nioh is one of the most enjoyable action games I've played. You should give it a try if you like the idea of a Dark Souls type level up system with a Diablo III loot mechanic on top of deeply satisfying combat.

Dark Souls on steroids! This game is brutal. There is a learning curve but once u catch on to using different stances and appropriate weapon choices it is little easier. Felt like a true samurai!!

This game is very good but very hard. Every bit as hard as dark souls. If you like dark souls this game is for you if you get easily frustrated with tough games then stay away from this one.

Do you like Dark Souls but hate getting crushed by mobs of invaders? This game is for you. It is like a gentler dark souls until you get to new game plus... where it will then test your reflexes and gear.

This is a fun game once you've invested a good 10+ hours into your character. You've got to be ok with dying hundreds of times like the dark souls series. Overall recommended.

This game is what I like to refer to as a "Kindergarten version of Dark Souls 2" (which was borderline impossible to play). You'll love this if you aren't a super-skilled gamer. You'll love this if you are.
