Nixplay lied to me in their unethical advertising! I would have made a different choice instead of this one if they had been honest. SHAME

The first displayed a message that it was already synced but it wasn’t. The second had a line through the screen display. Since we had spent weeks compiling photos for a surprise gift and programmed through the app, I bought one online (store was out). Finally, the 3rd worked and it is such a great gift to be able to upload photos and display at my Dad’s house.

The unit is solidly built, well packaged and has an outstanding app to manage its advanced features. The display is crisp and bright and the frame is very light weight but not flimsy. I had the unit assembled and the app downloaded in minutes. I was able to create my first playlist of media and start playing pictures quickly. I was able to share access with my wife so that she could add photos remotely from her phone. Everything just worked! The unit offers a surprisingly comprehensive list of features that allowed us to dial in our display and transition preferences with ease. The only con that I can even think of is the stand. If you choose to you can wall mount the frame but I wanted to be able to move it from room to room and so assembled the stand instead. The stand works but the frame is basically just leaning against it and we have managed to knock it loose a couple of times (the frame has a touch screen and so you do interact with it). I would like to see a slight redesign that somehow provided a more secure way to attach the frame to its stand. Nonetheless - I can't recommend the Nixplay strongly enough.
