    Aggravating game of inventory management

This entire game revolves around micromanaging your very limited inventory space. This game should suck you into its massive universe to explore, build, and expand. However, it gives you almost no inventory space to keep your materials and supplies. I found myself in my inventory around 90% of the time trying to see what I can throw away in order to pick up a quest item or a survival necessity. You are able to buy more space, but even at the maximum, it is nowhere near enough. It's a shame, too, because this game would have been fun otherwise.

Cannot get the VR mode to work. The main game is satisfactory but purchased for my Son for the VR mode.

    Boring

The story is one big fetch quest. Go here > make this > talk to someone > repeat. No interesting enemies to fight very limited material progression locked behind a story grind and and the rest is just trying to find cool looking ships. Even if you enjoy exploring the procedurally generated world is not much different from where you started the variety is low. Just because the game is much better than it was at launch does not make it good.

    Frustrating inventory management

This game is tedious at best and frustrating at worst. The free updates have done little to change the core boring gameplay. The universe within the game is gorgeous but shallow - I felt like I saw everything available within 15 hours. This game might appeal to someone playing on creative (where you can avoid the inventory management and survival mechanics), but I just didn't find the planets interesting enough to hold my attention. Disappointing - recommend Subnautica instead for a better experience in a related genre.
