Solid game to play for a couple of hours here and there, but there is not enough variety to make it worth the price. You explore a beautiful planet, gather some resources, trade with some generic aliens, then head off to another planet to do it all again. The game is gorgeous, but it is hard to keep playing when you know what to expect as you explore the universe.

This game is very fun. It can be repetitive at times if you let it though. The exploration is absolutely amazing.

Fun game but gets sorta boring towards the end. There no real end game or drive at the end. But got a solid 40 hrs of entertainment

Starts with a lot of promise. Fix your ship, discover planets, mine, upgrade storage, repeat. Not a bad game to just zone out and relax with, just not deep enough to hold my attention. I liked the freedom to go where I pleased, but so many environments, creatures, and plant life look too similar.

I think it doesn't have the 'pull you in' attraction that many other games have. It still is fun to explore, but its definitely a farming gamer's dream!

As many of us did, I waited intently for this game and all of the open universe awesomeness it was supposed to entail. While I enjoyed the game for the first few hours, it quickly became repetitive as I explored different worlds. The interface was lacking, and space combat was horrendous. With all the missing features that were promised, it was definitely not a $60 game.

No Multiplayer. You keep doing the same thing over and over in each system you go to.Was hoping for more....

This is a great game to play when you're restless at night. It can be quite relaxing and often helps me get to sleep. I know that sounds like a bad thing but I really don't mean it negatively. The hype on this one got way out of proportion and it never delivers on the promise of a few years ago, but it can be enjoyable if you don't expect too much of it. At it's heart this is a small indie game. They just had a computer make the world astronomical.

The initial portions of this game feel a lot like the Mass Effect planet missions, but without the overall story. The planets are huge, with plenty of places to visit but I worry that after a while they'll get boring - there's not much variety in buildings etc. Tons to find though, so if you like loot collecting it's great.

I got a good price on this item by using my Best Buy gamer's club. The game is good but runs out of steam, as far as content, a little too quickly.

After several patches for this game, No Mans Sky is a fun game to play. If your looking for a game with a lot of exploration, this games for you.

The game that sold the world was the biggest flop of 2016. As a first time buyer and reviewing hours of credible youtubers and reviewing companies and articles I decided to spend $10 since the "Next" update was highly appraised. I've spent nearly 5 hours visiting several planets and discovered new things and it's a blast, multiplayer is live, farming is great but not overwhelming. Definitely a great experience.

The game is supposedly amazing so I tried it out, but...I dunno it's kind of slow and uninteresting.

This game is not for everyone. I love the game. It allows you to follow whatever path you wish. If you want to explore one planet for days and find everything on it, you can. If you want to be a pirate and raid ships in space, you can. It is probably not exciting for everyone. You cannot go around killing other players constantly, because you probably won't find any. There is a huge galaxy waiting to be explored, if you are patient and willing to.

Bought game new after preordering and receiving gamers club discount. Awsum.game with great story. Like exploration games with outer space theme.

If you have all the time in the world and like to search for elements then this is the game for you

I was very hesitant about this based on the reviews. Picked it up on sale and I'm very impressed. Kinda repetitive but graphically beautiful.

when I heard about a giant sandbox in the universe, to say I was excited would be an understatement. When I got the Game, I pumped 20+ Hours into it easily, just exploring and what not, waiting for a major plot or a path I could go down find some story. I was sadly mistaken. There is little narrative in this game sadly, and I traded it in for something else.

This game is fun to play if you like to explore. When I want to clear my mind and play something that won't stress me out this game is perfect.

Very open world lots of color and it's a great game if your into gathering and inventory management
