Basic Feature Phone for Basic Mobile Communication

Gets the job done. Basic phone for calls and texts. Calls are 4G VoLTE and have been fine. Haven't tried the browser....other reviews say it rarely works. I don't use mobile phones for web browsing anyway. Rarely used my smart phones for that. Texting does take longer, like it used to back in the day, but I picked it back up quickly. Camera is basic but it's available if needed. Image quality isn't bad. My smart phone SIM card dropped right in to the Nokia 225, and T-Mobile recognized it and I was back on their network in several minutes. You will need to provide and install up to a 32GB Micro SD card to get full functionality of the phone and its software. After 14 years as smart phone user, I pivoted back to this basic phone. Tired of smart phones for several reasons. Happy I dumped it.

An answer from an OLD customer

This item has not yet been used. The clerks have often been helpful in answering my questions, but some of the services have changed and my interest is old-fashioned and limited. I need more basic help with all technology...longer appt. times when requested. Just learned that there is a re-stocking fee of $45....on my $49 phone choice which was not on display. That seems ridiculous if I cannot see it before I pay for it, since it was not in stock! Also learned that my Total Tech membership now is separate from Webroot. All seem to be inconsiderate of limited budget of retirees/seniors/and equipment deemed obsolete to us.

    Good Non-Smart Phone

Had to get a GSM phone due to CDMA phase out. This was relatively inexpensive, and does talk and text well (it can also do data, but I didn't need data). Built in Apps can't be deleted, but can be re-arranged. I put the ones I use (talk, text, calendar, etc.) on the home screen, and moved the junk ones (games, Facebook, etc.) to screen three, where I never see them. Date displays in international format (day, month, year) instead of US format (month, day, year), and can't be changed. Time stamp on incoming texts is off by one hour, and my be a carrier issue.

so far so good, great vacation from the smart phone! small, light, makes and receives calls and text messages. it's not a full keyboard so you don't get sucked into constant texting.

Good quality basic phone. Has internet based apps which frankly I did not expect on a phone like this. It’s a positive but don’t see myself using internet on this phone. Definitely helps with reducing screen time. Happy with the purchase.

Works fine for the price it tens of battery and calling. It doesn’t have Arabic language and not even able to read any Arabic message. Got is as a gift and by the time we knew that we passed the return window. Disappointed.

Its overall a good phone if you jsut want the basics. Beware that if you return it the restocking fee is $45 so you can’t really take it back. Be sure to check if your carrier is supported. At&t is not and makes the phone unusable for me.
