Good phone for what I want it for: calls and texts

Phone works exactly for the purpose I intended: calls and text. Calls are pretty clear and I've had no issues with them dropping or sounding bad on either end. No issues with MMS or group texts, and actually surprised to find some emojis! I turned the predictived text off because that SUCKS!! You can't even press a single key more than once to get to a different letter, it instead picks a whole word and moves on -- too much hassle for me to work around. I wish I could uninstall some of the preinstalled apps I will never use since there IS an app store, but I just sort them to a different page and call it a day. Camera quality is decent, not great but it gets the job done. Viewing them is horrendous on the phone itself, but nostalgic when you look at them on someone else's smartphone. Notes, email, GPS, and calendar work as I need them -- in a pinch; hardly use notes anymore, but they function fine, email is really just for urgent messages I need to view or notate, GPS more so for general directions that I just write on a notepad instead (turn by turn is not feasible for me when driving, too involved with my phone), and calendar for quick events or meetings for the sake of an aural reminder (apparently able to sync my google calendar, but I never used google calendar on my other phones LOL). That's pretty much all I use and I have been pleased for the past month of using this phone. It does FEEL cheap for the famed Nokia and I haven't tried any other featured phones, as they are less convenient for purchase (ironic, I know), but this does it's job fine. I will say, my battery has TREMENDOUSLY improved after turning off wifi and bluetooth -- even with just wifi on I was hardly getting a full day's charge on IDLE, but now I'm able to go 3-4 days with the occasional checkin/text/call by turning those two off. I'll just say, it's a good phone for those avoiding the temptation of doom scrolling and social media, because the little bits of internet you do have SUCK, but are there in a pinch if you really need it.

The phone is a little too high tech for my father. From my standpoint, this phone is amazing. It does everything I need in an easy way to learn. In the event that it is dropped, I feel good knowing I bought a case! It's a little slippery plastic without the case.

The Nokia 2760 is a blast from the past! It's simple, sturdy, and the battery lasts forever. Great for calls and texts, but don't expect any fancy apps. It's a reliable backup phone. I bought the Nokia 2760 for my grandparents, and they love it! Easy to use, large buttons, and they appreciate the old-school flip design. Plus, the battery life is impressive. If you're looking for a basic phone without all the distractions, the Nokia 2760 is perfect. The camera is meh, but it's great for calls and fits easily in my pocket. No complaints here!

Great phone for someone who wants away from high tech. Battery life is great. Pictures are not like a high end smartphone but they are good for when they come up on the screen. Google maps and YouTube can be used as well. I got a hello plan for 10 bucks a month unlimited talk and text so this is just a work phone. Best thing to is charges usb C. Definitely recommended

I am using this phone to replace some of the core functionality of my smartphone. I most am using it because it offers less distractions. This phone is easy to use, and generally works very well. There are some times in which the music app will crash the phone, but overall it works very well.

This phone was purchased for my Grandmother, as she wanted to switch to a phone that had a minimalist design. This is still a smartphone, and can do all that smartphones do, but in a much more rudimentary fashion like the transitional phones between the old Nokia bricks and smartphones as we know them now (think Sidekicks or Blackberry phones).
Worthless phone. Will not recommended to anyone...

I"ll give this phone a 0 stars. Right out of the box with a white screen. Now stuck with a paper weight now that i can not returned because of the time "13 days".

It flips. It's a phone. It's a flip phone!
As someone born in the 1900s, I remember the days where we all weren't glued to tiny handheld computers. The freedom of not being immediately reachable and expected to react to messages or notifications that aren't all that important. Using street lights (or wrist watches) as an indicator of when it was time to start heading home. Only being able to check messages once you've returned home from errands for the day... and people who left the messages understanding you may not instantly react and reply. Not to sound like an old man yelling at the sky (I am a woman in her 30s, after all), but I miss how peaceful and simple it was.
Enter: Nokia 2780. Yes, I had a smartphone for about 12 years, and it sucked me right in. I lament the time I spent (wasted) scrolling endlessly in apps that brought me nothing of value. I deleted my social media earlier this year, and then realized how silly it was to be carrying around a several hundred dollar smartphone and pay for a big data plan when all I really needed was something to call and text.
This phone has weird viewing angles and a terrible camera, but what in the cinnamon toast heck do you expect from a $90 flip phone? It texts and places calls very well, and that is all I want it for! It meets those needs incredibly well, the battery lasts forever since I'm not sitting and scrolling and wasting away using it for 6 hours a day, it's cute, it's small, it's a conversation starter. I couldn't ask for anything more.
TL;DR: great phone to use as a phone! Battery easily lasts all day, charges quickly with USB-C, and fits in even the smallest rip-off pockets you find in women's clothing!
A Flip Phone for Freedom... But Not for Durability

**
Final Verdict: While the Nokia 2780 Flip served its purpose as a break from smartphones, its poor build quality and lack of software support make it hard to recommend. If you're considering a flip phone for long-term use, spending a bit more on a rugged model would be a smarter investment.
**
Pros:
- Call Quality: Clear and crisp audio during calls. However, it lacks modern noise-canceling tech, so background noise is noticeable.
- Camera: Surprisingly decent for a basic phone. Expectations were low, but it performed better than anticipated.
- Battery Life: Solid performance—easily lasted 3+ days on a single charge.
- Digital Detox: If your goal is to escape the smartphone lifestyle, this phone delivers on that front.
Cons:
-Build Quality: Feels cheap and fragile. Two minor drops led to scuffs, and the phone died within three months despite no water damage.
- Operating System: Unresponsive and rarely updated. The lack of support makes it feel outdated quickly.
- Durability: Not suitable for active or rugged lifestyles. It didn’t survive light wear and tear.

love this im so happy i downgraded my phone to something more simple, I'm getting so much of my time back by not being glued to my screen all the time. I wish the keyboard was smaller like in older flip phones so that you could type faster. i realize they are big because they are marketed mostly towards the the older crowd, i just whish there were still flips that catered towards young people.
the camera is also kinda awesome. obviously its not high quality but its better than i thought and the pictures actually have a certain charm to them because of the camera. Almost convinced some of my friends to go flip! i wish the snake game had more levels and that i could get Spotify tho.

Nokia flip phones are known for their practicality and durability. They are designed to withstand everyday wear and tear, making them a reliable choice for those who need a phone for basic communication. The user-friendly interface and large buttons make them easy to use, while the long-lasting battery ensures you can stay connected for extended periods. However, it's important to note that these phones prioritize essential features over modern conveniences. You won't find the ability to browse the internet or access social media on these devices. Additionally, they may utilize older charging technology and have smaller buttons that can make typing more cumbersome. If your primary needs are durability, simplicity, and affordability, a Nokia flip phone could be a good option.

The large buttons and it answers when you open it and hangs up when you close it. It was purchased for a 86 year old person that was struggling with the iPhone so now happy with the basic large button easy to use phone
She didn’t understand stand camera or internet so I deleted all that, she just wanted to make calls and hang up.
