This Nokia 2780 is just right for me. Its a basic phone, but stronger, heavier & thicker than the Nokia 2720. Works well for peace of mind when driving. I just wanted something for talk & text. The rep at the Best Buy in Fredericksburg (Jon) was very helpful, kind and professional. He understood exactly what I wanted as a young senior just a bit over 65. He was not pushy or looking down on me for not wanting a smart phone when I have computers at home for all that. Very pleased with the phone so far and the great service I received. I'll be back. Thank you so much.

Don't mess up a flip phone with KaiOS. If I want a smartphone, I'll buy a smartphone. If I want a flip phone, I don't want "smart-ish" features like access to the internet. Especially on a tiny low-res screen with a low-res camera. Pick a frickin' lane. I wanted a simple flip phone as a first phone for a child. I may have to return this.

AT&T ended 3G service and my dad needed a basic clam shell phone with 4G. The Nokia 2780 is what I and he was looking for. He doesn't need all the apps of typical smart phones because he only needs a cell phone to make basic phone calls.
Took the AT&T sim card, popped it into the Nokia, and it works perfect. Charging is by USB-C port like so many other phones are using these days. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because its plastic construction but better than other prepaid clam shell phones I've looked at. My dad loves it because it's so basic and easy for him to use.

Phone does what I was hoping it would do! It gets 3 stars because pretty frequently the screen will look like an old fuzzy tv screen where I can't do anything. I press a bunch of buttons until it finally goes back to normal. Also I still haven't figured out how to get my email set up. I think this is a google issue, but it still is very difficult and you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it which I havent been able to figure out. Overall though it clears up my head space because it's not a smart phone and I probably would do it again.

Got this little phone for my mom for her birthday and she loves it! She never wanted a “fancy shmancy smart phone” so I took a chance on this and she was so happy! 100% recommend!

Bought for 87 year old. She is figuring it out. It is different from her old one, has more options for things, and good size text for reading. Pretty user friendly for someone who isn't tech savy.
