This is a basic flip phone for someone who cares little about bells and whistles. But if you have vision issues or spend time outside in bright light, the display isnt really readable. The letters are tiny and blurry.

My wife is adamant that cell phones are for talking on, nothing more. Her last flip phone wouldn't work at our house, and our provider wasn't being helpful, so a quick trip to BestBuy took care of it. Now she's happy and so am I.

Easy “out of the box” set up and performs exceptional well! Bought it for my spouse who refuses to use a smartphone, and she is completely happy with it.

My mom needed a simple phone for long-distance calls after her 3G one was obsolete. After a frustrating search, we found this Nokia. It's wonderful! Easy to set up, incredibly easy for her to contact the frequently called numbers. It is easy to read, and feels sturdy.
Thank you for leaving a review! We're happy to hear the phone is a good fit for you.

Bought for my aging mother to replace the iPhone she was struggling with. Adding phone numbers to it was a constant tedious struggle, calling numbers from the contact list was a massive pain. What should be a simple device that lets you make calls, receive calls, and store phone numbers has a bloated mess of an attempt to adapt a smartphone OS to a device without a touch screen.
To top it all off, it's got awful battery life and struggles mightily with making calls, even with wifi calling.

This Nokia 2780 is just right for me. Its a basic phone, but stronger, heavier & thicker than the Nokia 2720. Works well for peace of mind when driving. I just wanted something for talk & text. The rep at the Best Buy in Fredericksburg (Jon) was very helpful, kind and professional. He understood exactly what I wanted as a young senior just a bit over 65. He was not pushy or looking down on me for not wanting a smart phone when I have computers at home for all that. Very pleased with the phone so far and the great service I received. I'll be back. Thank you so much.

I got this phone as a way to do a digital detox, so going in my expectations were not exactly the highest but it managed to shock me with a couple of key issues:
1.) the build quality was just so poor. felt like a toy phone, buttons had a hard time clicking, the screen was very dim, on and on.
2.) it had freakin ADS!! like womens lingerie ads, and just for opening different applications, absurd!
I ended out getting a CAT S22, id recommend it to all looking for a break from the madness of smart phones without saying goodbye to the essentials like maps, mail, music etc.

So you want a phone that is... A PHIONE ? This is the perfect pocket phone, FM Radio, MP3 player, and on-line radio. It has bluetooth and WiFi too, as well as a real headphone jack, so you can stream your music to headphones or speakers, or wear wired headphones too.
Calls are clear and easy to hear. Texts work quickly. Unlocked 4G LTE email / web access too. GPS for walking or driving around town is included with google maps. The ONLY thing missing is HotSpot.
Data / Power connection is standard USB 3 port, so it works with all PCs and Laptops supporting USB.
Takes up to a 32 GB micro SD card, which is detected by the phone and it asks you if you want to use the card for storage (say yes!). Additional apps available from the Nokia online app store. This is the perfect phone for all your kids too. One extra outside button is configurable as a single press call for any contact, mom & dad , or emergency. Also includes a camera for quick snaps to send by text or email. This is the phone that will make you fall in love with Phones being PHONES again ! :-) Enjoy !
I would recommend this to a friend

Overall is good basic phone. Only downside is that Wi-Fi calling drops off occasionally and I have to reconnect

I would have rated this a 5 star rating but I think that it could have had a little more information included in the setup' it should show how much charge is in the battery, in numbers not a picture of a battery. That is really chinsey for a word that I can use here. That my biggest complaint, also this phone should charge thru my PC it doesn't. The phone is a very good phone and it does a good job for the price.
