I purchased this phone after breaking my "flagship" phone and did not want to spend the money to replace it. I don't need a phone that will launch the space shuttle. I mainly watch Netflix, surf FB, check emails, etc. I've always felt like I've had to have the top of the line phone until now. This phone fits my needs and I will never spend $1000 on a phone again. This phone is great.

I have had this phone for a few days and I have fallen in love. The build quality, processing speed, and stock android experience are sooooooo worth the price. I would recommend this phone to any of my friends.

I usually buy low-mid range phones because I don't need the high-end cameras etc of the expensive phones. I bought the Nokia 6.1. because it received good reviews plus it was an AndroidOne phone meaning regular updates. I switched to Nokia from the Moto G5 for that very reason. (Lenova promised updates to Oreo which never came). 2 recurring problems: First, the screen is not really responsive. Sometime touching the screen yields no response. For example, when a call notification comes in and I touch Accept, the phone doesn't respond at all. Since this is one of the basic functions that I use, its irritating. Secondly, the battery life is not good. Not even a day from a charge. My Moto lasted nearly 2 days on a charge and the screen was much better. I am considering switching back to the Moto with Android 7 for those 2 reasons, although I would miss Orea.

I got it for traveling. It will work anywhere in the world. It has decent features (camera, processor, etc.) Dual Sim comes in handy too.

Just received, so I cannot comment on usage. The specs on website say it is an Android 9.0 Pie. The box says Oreo (8.0). Maybe that's why it is on clearance. Still $90 cheaper than first release.

I was so excited getting this phone, Nokia phones were very reliable and well build back in the 90s but I guess that is long in the past. Don't get me wrong, the phone itself looks really nice, the screen is great, battery life is pretty good and charging is fast. The phone was workig great for a month, then the camera started lagging and freezing the phone, all the apps connected to the camera started to lag as well. I've tried everything, clearing cache, rebooting the phone, safe mode (everything that was suggested by Nokia costumer service), the phone works well for a few days and then goes back to freezing and lagging, breaking point came when I couldn't make a phone call. I need to reboot my phone every few days, which is ridiculous. If you buying this phone in Best Buy, make sure that you getting their insurance as well, because after 14 days you will be dealing with Nokia online. I'm very disappointed with this phone.

I have only had the phone for a few weeks but it works well so far. It sometimes removes apps from home screen but other than that it works well.

I am so sad how this Nokia phone turned out... These are not the same phones we used back then, a new company is the one manufacturing Nokia phones. First what bothers me the most is the phone will not pick up wifi while my other phones will... Then the phone freezes for no reason, as soon as you unlock the phone it wants to freeze. The camera is not that great and the microphone doesn't make it any better.. Overall there is too many problems with this phone, I will not buy a Nokia phone after this...

The United States (US) model will be released on May 6, 2018 and will contain 4GB RAM and 32GB Storage. 4GB RAM and 32GB Storage is unique to the US model. The international (non-US) model contains 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage. There is no US model that contains 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage.

I wanted to like this phone - I really did. Initially everything went along OK. I followed the instrux, put my sim in, charged it to 100% and completed setup, tweaking the settings to my preference. It then went about updating itself to Android Pie - that went along OK. It updated a few more apps. All of this went OK and the phone seemed to be working normally. It was still on its initial charge and had about 45% left. I put it down for an hour but when I came back to it it was COMPLETELY dead. I tried recharging it again - nothing. Tried holding the power on key - nothing, Power on and Volume down key (supposed to reset it) - again Nothing. Left it completely alone for another hour on the charger - still NOTHING! Wow! - talk about a FAIL!!! This is a REALLY bad experience from a trusted name. I see elsewhere in these reviews that others have experienced similar. I guess I'm lucky that it happened within the initial return period so I don't have to deal with Nokia from afar. Sorry - I cannot recommend...

Problems with the Nokia 6.1 I purchased 5/18 began from day 1. The headphone jack is defective - headphone plug won't stay in. Turns itself off-won't turn back on. Happened once and it did eventually power up after many hours of trying while on charger all the time. It happened again today and I can't get it to power on. For the first couple of months, the phone had constant freezes and stutters. Uninstalled all apps. Factory reset. Continued buggy until eventually an update seemed to fix it. Now it looks like my phone is dead. The Nokia 6.1 has some good features when it does work. Very nice and bright screen, solid build. Very good video for a mid - range phone. It's very rugged, but also clunky and not very pleasant to hold. The fingerprint sensor is always hard to locate and does not provide accurate readings for me despite setting up many times. In my opinion, there are terrible ergonomics throughout the phone. I like that the Nokia 6.1 is rugged and uses Android 1. When it works, it's a decent phone. Unfortunately, the buggy Nokia software and the unreliable and defective hardware in my unit makes this the worst smartphone experience I have ever had. And that was before it turned itself into a brick. I was excited to see Nokia return to the marketplace. I hope they can do better than my 6.1 in the future.

I did some research on this phone, and compared it with other phones in it's class. Decided to go with this Nokia 6.1. Great phone for the money!

Phone is great and all BUT if anyone looking to use both SIM + microsd card at the same time then you would be disappointed. Because it doesn't allow you to physically place both sim cards and sd card in the provided sim/sd slot. You have the option of either 1 sim and 1 sd card or 2 sims. And if you choose to use 2 sims then you would be stuck with whatever internal storage that is left (~18GB) out of the 32 GB capacity. There you go! Great job NOKIA. Thanks for downgrading!! Even older model phones have this feature. And btw this limitation is not mentioned anywhere on the box or product specification on the website.

What I like most about the phone is that its black metallic color. I am not sure if it's scratch resistance, but it is very hard to detect scratches. No need to buy screen protector. Cheap price I only paid $180 for this phone.

The build quality is good, except that it's pretty average.

At this point, I've had my Nokia 6.1 for 1 week and I was excited at first because of all the great reviews, but I've already had to 'hard' reset twice due to my phone freezing up. I am only using about half of the available space on the phone so I haven't overloaded my phone with apps. Another thing; everyone keeps saying how great the battery is but I charged my phone all night and I already have only 65% battery and it's only 10 am. I need to keep charging this phone throughout the day or it will not make it. What gives? Did I get a defective phone from Best Buy? Or are other having the same issues? I've had $100 phones that didn't give these problems.

I was super excited to receive a smartphone with Stock Android. Wish could have read https://community.phones.nokia.com/support/discussions/topics/7000011753 before buying this. It simply lags and automatically closes running apps. I have been using Motorola phones since last 4-5 years and never had such issues. Unfortunately, i missed the 15 days window to return it. Connected to Nokia care and they said ONLY can return at best buy. Since bought from there only! So in nutshell, i lost 280 bucks for this stupid phone. Talking to Nokia care since 1 hour and answering their silly questions. So AVOID and DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.

Stock Android experience, the phone simply works and is still adequate as a daily driver.
